Marshal the aircrafton the ramp all arriving, departingand towed aircraft.\nAllocate, trackand sign out equipment and supplies. Load, unload, sort and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freightand company material in and out of aircraftbins, belt loadersor baggage carts.\nConduct coaching and follow-up as it relates to equipment usage and task assignments. \nAllocate ground service equipment \nMonitor aircraftmovements to identifypotential issues and proactively develop solutions balancing our airline partner’s needs with our equipment, ground time, etc. to mitigate the impacts of off-schedule operations on our guests and our KPIs. \nCollaborate with our airline partners in their control center, to ensure the best decisions are being madefor safety and performance. \nMonitors and enforces safe working conditions in accordance withregulatory requirements, Unifi policies and safety procedures, and all applicable laws.\nPromotes and adheres to policies concerning Safety, Anti-Harassment and Equal Employment Opportunity.\nPerform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience and,capabilities expected for this position.\nPerform minor repairs to tools. \nResponsible for ensuring direction is provided with challenges impactingbaggage movement such as, butnot limited to; baggage scanning, flight hold decisions, chargeback analysis, BIWIS operations, baggage recall, disputes, and delays. \nParticipate in staff briefings with the Airport's team at the start of every shift, outlining any challenges and opportunities. \nCommunicate operational performance feedback to the airline's management team and provide solutions to facilitateeffective solutions. \nMonitor future flights to look for potential issues and develop solutions and adjustments with special emphasis on delayed inbound and outbound bags with decisions made towards guests, staffing, equipment needs, available ground time, etc. \nProvide operational feedback to the Duty Manager team regardingstaffing opportunities. \nCreate and update crew planners. \nQualifications:\nHigh School diploma, GEDor equivalent education. \nMust be at least 18 years of age.\nMust be able to obtain a fully cleared Restricted Area Identification Card.\nMust be able to obtain a YYC D/A AVOP.\nPossess a valid Driver’s License.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nOne +yearsof relevant work experiencein the aviation or ground handling industry.\nProficient in PC based applications, task allocation software, inventory control software.\nPhysical requirements:\nMust be able to frequentlylift, greater than 70lbs and constantly lift upto 70 lbs; Constantly push, pull up to 70 lbs; and constantlywalk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, & bend.\nWorking conditions:\nMust be able to workin rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime. \nMust be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.\n\"Unifi is committed to equal opportunity employment regardless of race,color, ancestry, religion, sex, national, origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability or veteran status.\"\nUnifi Aviation Canada, Inc.As an equal-opportunity employer, we welcome and encourage applications from all qualified individuals.
