Capable of installing power and control circuits including raceways.Proficient understanding of PLC logic, can read and follow ladder logic for trouble shooting PLC input/output issues. Capable of replacing PLC components.\nProficient knowledge of VFD’s, capable of accessing perimeters for trouble shooting or drive replacement.\n\nAbility to perform mechanical work with maintenance staff assisting on various repairs.\nKnowledge and understanding of NFPA 70E, Arc Flash safety requirements.\nPrior forklift, scissor lift, and industrial truck experience.\nPrior experience with CMMS system preferred.\nPrior recycling manufacturing experience preferred, not required.\nEducation\nHigh School Diploma or GED required\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment, electrical experience required\nA two-year associate's degree in Mechatronics Engineering Technology, or Electrical/Electronic Technology or equivalent is preferred, or significant comparable experience is required.\nExperience \nExperience with motor controls, VFD’s, PLC troubleshooting, motor installations, transformers, pneumatics and hydraulics. 480V and low voltage controls.
