The focus will be on providing support at the plant level in the improvement and expansion of existing products, processes, and technology. The Management Trainee will primarily work in the POY Spinning Extrusion facility.\nHow Will You Play an Integral Role?\nDevelop an intimate knowledge of processes, equipment and systems related to filament fiber production.\nProvide technical solutions for performance, cost, or quality improvement of existing product processes, both internally and at our customers’ facilities, using methodical experimental design and process improvement methods.\nMonitor product performance metrics and ensure process capabilities are met with each production run; respond with technical guidance on any out-of-control condition.\nProvide support internally for the Manufacturing and Quality Assurance groups, as well as for downstream processes. Use expertise to explore and resolve technical issues.\nMaintain relationships with production and technical staff, providing guidance and gaining awareness of problems or opportunities for improvement.\nTransition new product developments into commercial processes that provide innovative solutions for customers in the textile industry.\nWhat Is Essential for Success?\nAnalytics: Statistical analysis skills along with strong analytical thinking skills\nProblem Solving: Analyze production data and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and safety\nAdaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while embracing change and learning new processes\nTime Management: Self driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines\nCommunication Skills: Work effectively with diverse teams across the organization\nSafety Mindset: Demonstrate a commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and operational excellence\nAre You Qualified?\nBachelor’s degree in engineering or physical science degree, with a particular interest in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, textile engineering, textile technology, polymer and color chemistry, or general chemistry, is preferred.
