Operaterampequipment such as stairs and bridges.\nBenefits:\nFlight Privileges:Offered after30 days for employees and eligible family members!\nBi-Weekly payfor hourly employees, with daily access to earned wages.\nPaid time off- 2 weeks paid off, statutory holidays.\n$300 available for HAS/PSA.\nExclusive discounts and additionalwellness programs.\nEligible to receive annual performance bonuses as additionalcompensation. \nJob Duties:\nLead a teamof agents in ramp service duties. \nMarshal the aircrafton the ramp all arriving, departingand towed aircraft.\nPerform wing walker duties to protect the aircraftwing from equipment in the path of pushback and de-ice aircraftas required. \nLoad, unload, sort and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freightand company material in and out of aircraftbins, belt loadersor baggage carts.\nOperate ramp equipment like bag tugs, belt loaders, aircrafttow tractors, water servicing vehicles, and lavatory servicing vehicles. \nMay be assigned cabin service duties likeservicing the aircraft, cleaning lavatories and cabin, restocking supplies, and other items.\nMonitor and enforce safe working habits in accordance withOHS/CATSA/Transport Canada regulations, Unifi policies and safety procedures, and all applicable laws.\nResponsible for shift schedule to include workstation assignments, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.\nEnforces Company policies and procedures, including disciplinary action, and promotes Unifi policies on Equal Employment Opportunity, Professional Conduct, and diversity initiatives and investigates and responds to employee relations issuesin a timely manner.Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience and,capabilities expected for this position.\nQualifications:\nHigh School diploma, GEDor equivalent education. \nMust be at least 18 years of age.\nMust be able to obtain a fully cleared Restricted Area Identification Card.\nMust be able to obtain a YYC D/A AVOP.\nPossess a valid Driver’s License.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nTwo +yearsof relevant work experiencein the aviation or ground handling industry. \nPhysical requirements:\nMust be able to frequentlylift, greater than 70lbs and constantly lift upto 70 lbs; Constantly push, pull up to 70 lbs; and constantlywalk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, & bend.\nWorking conditions:\nMust be able to workin rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime. \nMust be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.\n\"Unifi is committed to equal opportunity employment regardless of race,color, ancestry, religion, sex, national, origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability or veteran status.\"\nUnifi Aviation Canada, Inc.As an equal-opportunity employer, we welcome and encourage applications from all qualified individuals.
