Ubiquiti

Ubiquiti is an American networking company founded in 2003 that sells wireless, switching, routing, camera and access control equipment with an unusual business model: almost no direct sales force, minimal marketing spend and a community of installers and enthusiasts who provide support to one another. Its UniFi ecosystem gives small businesses, hotels, campuses and homes enterprise-style networking managed through a single controller at prices well below the traditional vendors. Headquartered in New York and listed on the New York Stock Exchange, it sells through distributors and online, and its founder retains a controlling stake.
