With a strong focus on quality, innovation and customer success, we help businesses navigate their digital transformation journey.\n\nRole Overview\nWe are looking for a motivated Linux & AWS Support Engineer to manage, monitor and troubleshoot Linux-based server environments and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Linux administration, basic AWS services, web servers, databases and infrastructure monitoring tools.\nThe role involves ensuring system availability, maintaining infrastructure performance, supporting deployments and backups and responding to production incidents to ensure smooth and reliable operations.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nInstall, configure, manage and troubleshoot Linux servers and LAMP/LEMP environments.\nMaintain and support web server technologies such as Apache and Nginx, along with MySQL databases and PHP-based applications.\nManage and monitor AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, RDS and CloudWatch.\nMonitor server health, application availability and infrastructure performance using tools such as Zabbix, Nagios, Grafana, Prometheus or similar platforms.\nTroubleshoot server, application, database, networking and performance-related issues.\nAnalyze system and application logs and monitor CPU, memory, disk usage and other critical system metrics.\nRespond to alerts, investigate incidents and take appropriate corrective actions to minimize downtime.\nSupport application deployments, backup and recovery processes, SSL certificate management and routine maintenance activities.\nPerform basic security checks, access management and system updates in accordance with established procedures.\nMaintain technical documentation, incident records and operational checklists.\nParticipate in on-call support and incident management activities as required.\nCollaborate with development and other technical teams to resolve infrastructure and production issues.\n\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\nGood knowledge of Linux system administration, preferably Ubuntu, CentOS or similar distributions.\nBasic hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, RDS and CloudWatch.\nWorking knowledge of Apache/Nginx web servers and MySQL databases.\nUnderstanding of LAMP/LEMP stack environments and basic web application architecture.\nHands-on experience with at least one infrastructure or application monitoring tool such as Zabbix, Nagios, Grafana or Prometheus.\nBasic knowledge of Bash/Shell scripting and Git.\nUnderstanding of server logs, resource utilization, system performance and troubleshooting methodologies.\nBasic understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, TCP/IP, ports, firewalls and connectivity troubleshooting.\nGood analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.\nAbility to work collaboratively and respond effectively to technical issues in a production environment.\n\nGood to Have\nBasic knowledge of Docker and containerization.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.\nExposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or configuration management tools such as Ansible.\nFamiliarity with Prometheus and Grafana dashboards, metrics and alerting.\nUnderstanding of SSL/TLS certificates, security best practices and backup/recovery strategies.\nExposure to cloud infrastructure automation and performance optimization.\n\nWhat We Are Looking For\nWe are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a strong troubleshooting mindset and a willingness to learn.
