From financial planning to reporting, procurement, investor relations and beyond, our team of experts plays a critical role in supporting every department and shaping the company’s success story.\nAs a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for strengthening the Group’s accounting, consolidation, and financial reporting capabilities, with particular focus on complex, critical, and non-routine accounting matters. The role will provide technical accounting expertise across multiple Group entities and jurisdictions and support the appropriate accounting treatment, documentation, and reporting of acquisitions, restructuring, liquidations, equity transactions, and other exceptional or complex transactions.\nHelp us shape the future of communications by:\nProviding technical accounting guidance on complex and non-routine transactions in accordance with IFRS.\n\nPreparing and reviewing accounting entries related to acquisitions, business combinations, restructuring, liquidations, equity transactions, intercompany transactions, and other exceptional matters.\n\nSupporting acquisition accounting, including purchase price allocation (PPA), goodwill, identifiable intangible assets, deferred consideration, and post-acquisition accounting.\n\nPreparing technical accounting memos and position papers supporting significant accounting judgments and treatments.\nSupport Group consolidation and ensure consistent and appropriate accounting treatment across different entities and jurisdictions.\n\nReviewing complex balance sheet accounts, reconciliations, consolidation adjustments, and accounting entries.\n\nSupporting accounting for equity, share-based payments, investments, financing arrangements, and changes in Group structure.\n\nWorking closely with external auditors on significant and judgmental accounting matters and ensure timely resolution of audit queries.\n\nSupporting the preparation and review of consolidated and standalone financial statements in accordance with IFRS.\nMonitor new and amended IFRS standards and assess their accounting and reporting impact on the Group.\n\nSupporting year-end audits and provide the required technical accounting documentation and analysis.\n\nSupporting Finance leadership on accounting implications arising from M&A, corporate restructuring, entity establishment or closure, and other strategic transactions.\n\nStrengthening accounting policies, financial controls, documentation, and reporting processes.\n\nContributing to IPO readiness, including enhancing accounting documentation, reporting quality, governance, controls, and audit readiness.\n\nPartnering with Tax, Legal, Treasury, FP&A, and other functions on transactions requiring cross-functional financial assessment.\n\nBuilding stronger technical accounting capabilities internally and reduce reliance on external advisors for complex accounting matters.\n\nRequirements\nWhat you will bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\n\nProfessional qualification such as CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent is strongly preferred.\n\nCFA qualification or progress toward CFA would be considered an additional advantage, particularly for valuation,\ncorporate finance, and transaction-related matters.\n\nMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, financial reporting, or financial control.\n\nStrong practical knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements.\n\nExperience in complex accounting matters, preferably including M&A, business combinations, consolidation, restructuring, equity, and Group accounting.\n\nBig Four experience is highly preferred, particularly candidates with audit, accounting advisory, or transaction-related exposure.\n\nExperience working within a multinational or multi-entity Group environment is preferred.\n\nExperience dealing directly with external auditors and preparing technical accounting documentation.\n\nStrong understanding of financial controls, consolidation, and financial reporting processes.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and professional judgment skills.\n\nExcellent written and verbal English communication skills.\n\nCraft & Toolkit:\nCPA / ACA / ACCA qualification\n\nStrong IFRS knowledge and application\n\nTechnical accounting for complex transactions\n\nM&A / Business Combinations (IFRS 3)\n\nPPA, Goodwill & Intangible Assets\n\nGroup Consolidation & Intercompany Accounting\n\nFinancial Reporting & IFRS Financial Statements\n\nTechnical Accounting Memos & Position Papers\n\nExternal Audit & Audit Query Management\n\nFinancial Controls & Balance Sheet Reconciliations\n\nIFRS Research & Professional Judgment\n\nIPO Readiness & Reporting Controls\n\nCharacter Traits:\nAnalytical thinking and problem-solving -
