We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to oversee US accounting operations, including US GAAP compliance, month-end close, financial reporting, tax compliance, and team management.\nThe role will work closely with leadership to ensure accurate and timely financial close for the US entity. The position is preferably based in Pune, with the expectation of working from the Pune office twice a week; however, candidates from other locations may also be considered.\n Your job duties will include:\nFinancial Accounting & Reporting\nLead all accounting operations for US entities in accordance with US GAAP and company policies. \nOversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. \nReview and analyse financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules. \nEnsure timely and accurate preparation of management reports and financial reporting packages. \nDrive continuous improvement in accounting processes, controls, and reporting procedures. \nCore Accounting Functions\nManage and oversee:\nAccounts Payable and Vendor Management \nCustomer Billing and Accounts Receivable \nRevenue Recognition and Project Accounting \nBank and Credit Card Reconciliations \nGeneral Ledger Maintenance \nFixed Assets Accounting \nFinancial Reporting and Consolidation \nTax & Compliance\nEnsure compliance with US federal, state, and local tax requirements \nCoordinate preparation with external tax preparer and review of corporate tax filings including 1120, supporting schedules and state tax returns. \nPrepare 1099s and 1042 as needed with our inhouse tax accountant \nReview other statutory filings, tax returns, and corporate records related to the US entity including the Philippines VAT filings \nAudit Management\nServe as the primary liaison for external auditors. \nCoordinate annual financial statement audits and other compliance reviews. \nPrepare audit schedules and ensure timely resolution of audit queries. \nStrengthen internal controls and mitigate financial reporting risks. \nLeadership & Strategic Finance\nLead, mentor, and develop accounting team members. \nEstablish performance expectations and drive accountability within the team. \nProvide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership. \nSupport budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and business decision-making. \nPartner with cross-functional teams to improve business processes and financial performance. \n Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. \nActive US CPA License.\nMaster's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or CMA is preferred. \nMinimum 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience. \nMinimum 3-5 years of experience managing and leading accounting teams. \nStrong experience handling accounting operations for US-based entities. \nExperience working in multinational or global organisations is preferred. \nTechnical Knowledge\nStrong knowledge of US GAAP \nExperience with US corporate tax compliance and reporting. \nStrong understanding of internal controls, audits, and compliance frameworks. \nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems. \nExperience with Xero or Microsoft Dynamics is preferred \nSkills &
