Benefits are subject to eligibility requirements and applicable plan terms.\nJob Title: Test Operator II - Swing Shift\nJob Function: Manufacturing\nJob Overview: Performs a variety of duties in the set-up operation of equipment as defined in the work instructions for each process. Reports to Production Supervisor Newark, CA.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\n1.Tests function of electronic assemblies/Sub-assemblies, components, systems, units and parts according to established procedures.\nTest electronics products, components and systems for electrical continuity and function and reliability on a variety of test platforms and static/dynamic stress chambers.\nDetermines if the designated products pass all test cycles. Collects diagnostic information needed to isolate any product failure.\nNotifies the appropriate statistical process control system.\nInspects product for the correct placement and orientation of untested components.\nInspect products for any physical damage or contamination.\nPlaces the appropriate test marks on all electronics pass test.\nReviews production schedules, process procedures and specifications regarding the sequential start-up operation and control of automated equipment and peripheral hardware.\nRecords data required for statistical process control of inventory management.\nPerform sequential shutdown including the cleaning of the automated equipment of peripheral hardware.\nCommunicate any process problems with peers, leads, supervisors and or engineers.\nMay be required for certain assembler positions, these could include one or more skillsets.\n2. Execute written/verbal instructions given by supervisor and monitor efficiency and quality of assigned routine tasks:\nMonitor PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assemblies through the process and report discrepancies to Production Supervisor, line lead or Technical Team.\nInspect finished boards for quality and quantity of work performed,\nRead and follow work instructions and visual aids,\nCheck and inspect task results against predetermined standards,\nIdentify, communicate, and escalate production issues and problems.\n3.
