You will execute the full QA lifecycle - from planning and building test systems to identifying defects, reproducing issues, and validating releases - ensuring our products meet both business and user expectations.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn the quality of assigned product areas, ensuring releases meet product manager and end-user expectations.\nCollaborate with product managers and developers to create clear, effective test plans and test cases for end-to-end workflows.\nImplement and execute manual test plans across Linux, Windows, macOS, and web-based interfaces.\nBuild, configure, and maintain test systems, including virtualised environments (VMWare) and cloud-based deployments.\nIdentify, reproduce, and document defects with clear, step-by-step replication paths.\nWork closely with development teams to triage issues and verify fixes.\nSupport the QA team in preparing and releasing software builds.\nReview release notes, user guides, and technical documentation to ensure accuracy and clarity.\nProvide meaningful feedback on technical design documents and quality specifications.\nGain deep knowledge of Uniguest technologies, hardware/software interactions, and system behaviours.\nRequired Skills & Experience\n2+ Years previous experience within a Test Engineering position.\nGood knowledge of scripting language (e.g. PHP and bash).\nWorking knowledge of Linux.\nKnowledge of cloud networking architecture and cloud operations.\nExperience with virtualisation technologies, in particular VMWare.\nExcellent communication skills internally and externally.\nExperience with the implementation and/or operations of medium to large-scale enterprise cloud infrastructures.\nExperience of testing web-based applications on Windows and Mac OS X.\nA good understanding of data security and privacy concerns desirable along with experience in Jira and Confluence.\nAbility to automate testing preferably using Python.\nExperience with API testing tools (Postman, Curl etc)\nKnowledge of IPTV, digital signage, or media streaming technologies advantageous.\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive Benefits Package*\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP): Support for personal and professional well-being.\nCareer Development: Opportunities for advancement within Uniguest growing global organisation.\nEmployee Recognition Rewards Program: Acknowledging outstanding contributions.\nDynamic Work Environment: Collaborate with a passionate team across our Development & Quality team.\nThis position is remote-first, offering flexibility.
