Responsibilities\nAudit & Controls\nAct as a key finance partner to internal and external statutory audit, supporting planning, walkthroughs, testing, and remediation activities\nPrepare, review, and maintain audit documentation, including process narratives, risk assessments, and control matrices\nIdentify control gaps, inefficiencies, and risks, and drive remediation plans through to completion\nSupport internal controls and compliance requirements (where applicable)\nFinancial Analysis & Reporting\nProduce and review management, audit, and regulatory reports ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness\nPerform detailed variance analysis, trend analysis, and root-cause investigations\nDevelop and maintain robust Excel models, dashboards, and reconciliations using advanced functionality\nPartner with FP&A, Accounting, and Operations teams to deliver meaningful financial insights\nNetSuite & Systems\nAct as a NetSuite subject-matter expert supporting reporting, saved searches, dashboards, and data extraction\nSupport month-end and year-end processes within NetSuite, ensuring data integrity and audit readiness\nIdentify opportunities to improve how NetSuite is used for reporting, controls, and efficiency\nPartner with systems and IT teams on enhancements, new functionality, and testing\nProcess Improvement & Automation\nLead and support process improvement initiatives across finance and audit workflows\nIdentify opportunities for standardisation, automation, and efficiency gains\nImprove documentation, controls, and reporting processes to reduce manual effort and errors\nSupport change management and training linked to improved processes\nStakeholder Management\nWork closely with senior finance leaders and non-finance stakeholders\nTranslate complex financial and audit matters into clear, practical recommendations\nProvide guidance and coaching to junior accountants when required\nSkills & Experience Required\nEssential\nSignificant experience in a senior finance, audit, or financial analysis role\nStrong practical experience with NetSuite (reporting, saved searches, reconciliations, audit support), in particular experience with the ARM module within NetSuite.\nAdvanced Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, complex formulas, large data sets)\nStrong audit mindset with experience supporting internal and/or external audits\nProven ability to analyse large volumes of financial data and identify issues and trends\nDemonstrated experience in process improvement and control enhancement\nExcellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills\nConfident communicator with the ability to challenge and influence stakeholders\nExperience in multi-entity, multi-currency, or international environments\nDesirable / Nice to Have\nQualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)\nExperience with reporting or BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)\nExperience with automation tools (e.g. Excel VBA, system workflows, reporting automation)\nPrior experience in a fast-paced, transformation, or scale-up environment\nPersonal
