This role requires a highly analytical and commercially minded procurement professional capable of integrating supplier, financial, operational, and market data to generate meaningful insights and enable fact based decision making.\nThe Global Buyer will support global tenders and category initiatives across equipment, services, maintenance, consumables, and related solutions.\nKey Responsibilities.Procurement & Commercial Analysis\nConduct, together with Category Managers, detailed analysis of supplier proposals, pricing structures, commercial terms, and cost drivers.\nDevelop and maintain CAPEX, OPEX, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models.\nAnalyse supplier proposals and commercial submissions to support sourcing decisions.\nBuild scenarios and sensitivity analyses to support supplier evaluation and award recommendations.\nPerform price-volume, benchmarking, market, and opportunity analysis.\nSupport execution of global category strategies and sourcing initiatives.\nProvide fact based insights to strengthen supplier negotiations and identify commercial opportunities.\nBuild effective working relationships with Operations, Medical/Clinical teams, Finance, Legal, local procurement, and other key stakeholders across markets.\nWork closely with Operations to collect, structure, validate, and analyse operational data required for sourcing and investment decisions.\nGather information on equipment requirements, installed base, utilization, volumes, service performance, replacement needs, specifications, and other operational parameters.\nProactively follow up with stakeholders to close data gaps and ensure timely completion of sourcing activities.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain, Procurement, Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field.\nApproximately 3-10 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing, Procurement Analytics, or Supply Chain.\nProven experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, particularly Operations teams, within manufacturing or production environments\nExperience in healthcare, medical devices, diagnostics, technology, or other CAPEX-intensive industries is an advantage.\nExperience in an international or multi-country environment is preferred.\nCritical Analytical Skills\nAdvanced Excel (PivotTables, XLOOKUP/INDEX MATCH, complex formulas, data consolidation, scenario modelling).\nStrong numerical and financial analytical capabilities.\nTCO, CAPEX, and OPEX modelling.\nSpend, price, and volume analysis.\nSupplier bid normalization and comparison.\nScenario and sensitivity analysis.\nAbility to combine procurement, supplier, financial, and operational datasets.\nStrong ability to identify data gaps, inconsistencies, trends, risks, and commercial opportunities.\nPower BI or similar business intelligence tools highly desirable.\nKey Competencies\nHighly analytical with excellent attention to detail.\nStrong stakeholder management and cross functional collaboration skills.\nCommercially minded and comfortable challenging supplier proposals and internal assumptions.\nAble to engage Operations and other stakeholders to obtain accurate data and understand underlying business requirements.\nStructured, rigorous, and fact based approach to problem solving.\nAble to work independently within the category strategy defined by the Global Category Manager.\nConfident communicating with suppliers and stakeholders across countries and organizational levels.\nProactive, curious, accountable, and solution oriented.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nSuccess in this role means becoming the analytical and commercial backbone of the Category Managers-providing reliable data, strong sourcing execution, and stakeholder coordination.\nThe successful candidate will actively engage stakeholders, gather and challenge operational data, and effectively support the sourcing activities of the Global Direct Procurement team.\n.\n Recruitment Fraud Warning\nUnilabs does not request payments, banking information, or purchases from candidates during the recruitment process.
