The role ensures the safe delivery of high-quality packed products while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and hygiene standards.\nAs a key member of the operations team, the Basic Operator plays an active role in maintaining line safety and identifying process or equipment issues, promptly escalating them to team leaders.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n1. Operational Activities\nStart-Up and ShutdownPerform pre-start-up checks to ensure equipment and work areas are clean, safe, and compliant with SOPs.\nAssist in safe and systematic shutdown of equipment and work areas as per SOP requirements.\n\nCleaning and HygieneConduct inspection and cleaning activities in line with SOPs.\nIdentify and report potential contamination risks, including those in hard-to-reach areas.\n\nMaterial HandlingEnsure continuous supply of appropriate packaging materials from storage areas to designated workstations.\nMaintain organization in line with 5S standards.\n\nQuality ControlMonitor product and packaging quality against defined standards.\nIdentify and report defects, process deviations, or abnormalities promptly.\nTake immediate corrective or emergency actions to minimize impact.\n\n AdministrationComplete accurate shift handovers.\nRecord production data (e.g., cases packed, rejects) and significant events during the shift.\n\n2. Safety, Quality, and Compliance\nSafetyDemonstrate full understanding of safety procedures and legal responsibilities.\nActively contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.\n\nQuality and Food SafetyMonitor processes to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards.\nIdentify and report risks related to product, packaging, machinery, or process deviations.\nTake immediate action to control and prevent issues.\n\nWorkplace HazardsMaintain awareness of workplace hazards.\nFollow appropriate safety and environmental procedures related to people, processes, materials, and equipment.\n\n3. Environmental Responsibility\nMinimize waste and support cost reduction initiatives.\nHandle waste and hazardous materials correctly.\nContribute to environmentally sustainable and eco-efficient operations.\n4. Continuous Improvement\nUse performance indicators to identify production losses and improvement opportunities.\nAccurately describe and monitor process or line issues.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives.\n5.
