Challenge the status quo and own your portfolio.\nLead in the expansion of the portfolio and explore proxy hedging through related commodities.\nPartner with procurement buyers and provide guidance in the physical procurement process, supplier negotiation, and contracting.\nProvide training and support to internal stakeholders and management on markets and risk management strategies.\nDevelop a strong industry network with suppliers and traders and gather intelligence from market reports.\nEngage business stakeholders to communicate the view of CRM and the strategy. Show curiosity to understand the business context in each market and provide relevant solutions.\nKey Challenges:\nRelaying complex information on markets, strategy, and price forecasts to key stakeholders in a simple format.\nProviding risk management solutions for Unilever’s diverse business needs and risk profiles.\nSearching for opportunities to expand the scope of CRM both in terms of tools used and scope. This will involve a commitment to a high degree of diligence and research.\nProfessional Skills:\nIn-depth market knowledge and experience in energy and packaging commodity markets, ideally with a focus on crude oil, refined products, and resins.\nHighly numerate with strong excel skills and passion for fundamental and quantitative analysis.\nClear communication skills with ability to condense complex market knowledge into simple information.\nHigh achieving, independent individual with strong problem-solving skills and entrepreneurial spirit.\nExperience Required:\nUniversity degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering\nAt least 5 years’ experience in physical/financial trading, commodity research, or industry CRM.\nNOTES\nWhat We Offer\nNot only do we offer a competitive salary and pension scheme, we also offer an annual bonus, subsidised gym membership, a discounted staff shop and shares.
