perimeter security detection systems (CCTV)\nThird-party contractor leadership for grounds and drainage maintenance (quality, safety, and on-time delivery)\nMedium Voltage (MV) electrical operation and maintenance, including energy monitoring and analysis, energy forecasting, energy loss analysis, annual maintenance planning, and driving energy efficiency programs to deliver electricity reduction targets\nPrimary site contact for Solar PV operation and maintenance; operation of the earthquake recording instrument\nSite subject matter expert (SME) and factory trainer for thermal imaging (thermography), including execution of thermal imaging predictive maintenance for facilities and electrical distribution assets\nSupport facilities cost control by tracking spend versus budget for assigned scope, supporting PR/PO processing, and providing timely variance explanations.\nExecute assigned facilities and MV maintenance plans and escalate systemic risks, recurring failures, and compliance gaps to the Facilities and Maintenance Manager for governance and resourcing decisions.\nThe Facilities Engineer DOES NOT have any direct reports but may be appointed to handle contractors or engineering service providers for specific activities.\nKPI\nElectricity Reduction Target (as defined in site energy target/KPI cascade)\nFacilities maintenance within budget (plan vs actual; within allocated budget for assigned facilities scope)\n98% PM Compliance for all facilities equipment (on-time completion vs plan, per CMMS)\nROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nSafety and Quality\nEnsure compliance to Safety and Occupational Health procedures (i.e., use of proper PPEs and reporting of unsafe acts and conditions through SBO, etc.)\nEnsure compliance to environmental policy (i.e., proper waste segregation and water and energy conservation, etc.)\nEnsure compliance to GMP and HACCP (i.e., proper hygiene and proper wearing uniforms, etc.)\nParticipates in QBO (Quality Behaviours Observation) program\nFollow prescribed work procedures and company safety rules and regulations\nMaintenance\nPerform diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems such as: MCCs/Electrical Substation\n\nSubstation equipment such as: Power Transformer\nMedium Voltage Switch Gear\nLoad Break Switch (RMU)\nPower Control Center (PCC)\nCapacitor Bank\nHarmonic Filter\nUninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)\nBuilding/industrial Wiring\nDistribution panels\nMotor Control Centers\n\nInstall, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility electrical and building services systems/equipment (simple to complex), ensuring compliance and readiness of critical facilities and safety systems.Motor controls and protection devices for facility equipment (e.g., pumps, fans, AHUs)\nBuilding lighting and small power systems\nACUs (preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordination with service providers)\nClosed Circuit Television (CCTV) and supporting components\nFire Detection and Alarm System (FDAS)\nFire suppression systems (including interfaces such as fire pumps/controls, where applicable)\nEarthquake/structural monitoring instruments (as applicable)\nPerimeter lighting and grounds/perimeter systems (as applicable) \nGenerator\n\nSupport the Facilities and Maintenance Manager in handling contractors/service providers for medium-scale facilities repair and maintenance activities and minor projects.\nExecute assigned facilities and MV maintenance plans and escalate systemic risks, recurring failures, and compliance gaps to the Facilities and Maintenance Manager for governance and resourcing decisions.\nPrepare work instructions, perform site inspections, monitor activities and check quality of workmanship at site.\nSupport the Facilities and Maintenance Manager in facility electrical safety and compliance audits (e.g., statutory checks and site electrical safety standards) and in executing corrective actions.\nPrepare work order\nCompletion of Emergency Work Order (EWO)\nPrepare and organize documentation requirements for Repairs and Maintenance of the following: Wiring diagrams, P&IDs, Procedures for operation and maintenance, Equipment/spares list, Repairs and Maintenance reports, Visual controls, Test and calibration reports, and other documents necessary for R&M.\nDesignated as Authorized Person. A person who has been appointed in writing by a Senior Authorised Person to carry out specified duties. According to level of authorisation, this may include authority to issue and cancel specified safety documents.\nCarry out high voltage switching activities, as appointed/authorized and in accordance with approved safety rules and switching procedures.\nSwitching or tripping of high voltage apparatus under emergency conditions and carry out routine duties in substation\nIsolation of high voltage equipment and carry out testing of high voltage testing using approved testing equipment\nEarthing on high voltage equipment\nDesignated as ERT (Emergency Response Team)\nOperational Excellence: support facilities reliability and availability by executing planned maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and implementing corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence.\nCollaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot issues and restore equipment/service availability.\nMaintain log sheets and prepare reports, highlighting observations, defects, and recommendations.\nCan act as person-in-charge for activities they are competent in, in the absence of their line manager.\nAdmin\nCompliance to company COBP, CR&R\nCompliance to the GMP and GHK rules of the plant\nFocused Improvement\nParticipates in Focused Improvement activities\nExecutes agreed Focused Improvement actions\nRaises improvement activities (OFI) and OPL\nValidates results and effectiveness of Focused Improvement activities via real time observations\nMaintenance\nPerform routine activities such as operation, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance and ensure that facilities assets and services are available to support safe and continuous production.\nThermal Imaging (Thermography): conduct predictive maintenance for facility equipment and electrical distribution assets, analyze findings, recommend corrective actions, maintain trends, and serve as the site SME/trainer.\nPerform preventive and autonomous maintenance task, including CILT, based on the calendar given by the maintenance planner\nParticipates in the EWO (emergency work order) filling up and execution of actions that relates to prevent any similar breakdown\nDigital\nProficient in using smartphones/tablets for CMMS, checklists, and reporting.\nLearn and adapt to digital tools as required by the Company\nUse site digital tools (e.g., CMMS/work order systems and basic monitoring dashboards) to document work execution, track defects, and support analysis for facilities reliability improvement.\nManning\nParticipates in trainings and other ad hoc activities as required by the Company\nKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRE D\nDiploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics Engineering or any technical course relevant to stated functions\nPreferably with Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) / Registered Master Electrician (RME) License\nKnowledge of facilities systems such as MV/LV electrical distribution, building services, HVAC, fire detection/protection systems, and security systems (CCTV)\nKnows how to analyze systems and make recommendations for improvement\nKnowledge of Basic R2S/UMS Principles such as UMS Pillars, OEE Computation, Loss Measurements, Problem Solving Techniques, Statistical Process Control and Cost Variance Analysis\nBasic knowledge in thermodynamics, heat exchanger, steam and compressed air system and pressure vessel operation\nBasic analytical skills for facilities performance data (e.g., energy trends, losses, PM compliance, and maintenance cost tracking).\nBasic knowledge of facilities systems performance and compliance requirements (e.g., FDAS/fire protection, MV electrical distribution, and building services maintenance).\nKnowledge of the 5S principles and the ability to consistently practice them\nSkills and knowledge in proper lubrication for machines and other autonomous maintenance activities\nKnowledge in mechanical systems such as fasteners and mechanical drives\nStrong attention to detail regarding documentation\nBasic knowledge of occupational health and safety (OHS/OSH), EMS, GMP and HACCP\nAbility to prepare accurate technical reports and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing\nMust possess basic PC skills, MS Excel skills, good communication skills, comfortable working in an open team environment, have the ability to plan, organize and execute work with a minimum of supervision and have a strong awareness of safety issues.\nAmenable to work in Gateway Business Park, General Trias, Cavite\nWe highly encourage applicants to exclude information on age, gender, and school/s in view of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
