Working closely with Customer Development, Marketing, Shopper Marketing and Category teams, you will gain hands-on experience in how commercial strategies are transformed into successful in-market execution.\nDepending on the team and business priorities, your responsibilities may include:\nSupporting the development and execution of customer and category growth plans across a range of retail and commercial channels.\nAssisting with the planning and implementation of promotional and activation calendars to drive business performance and shopper engagement.\nAnalyzing sales, promotional, customer and category performance data to identify opportunities and support decision-making.\nSupporting innovation launches and helping coordinate activities required for successful customer implementation.\nCollaborating with Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Category Management, Supply Chain and Finance teams to ensure effective execution of business priorities.\nMonitoring promotional activities and in-store execution, helping evaluate performance and identify recommendations for future improvements.\nPreparing commercial analyses, presentations and performance updates for internal and external stakeholders.\nSupporting customer meetings, business reviews and operational account management activities.\nCoordinating multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously while ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.\nContributing to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen commercial effectiveness and customer collaboration.\nWhat You'll Learn\nDuring this internship, you will have the opportunity to:\nDevelop a strong understanding of how Unilever collaborates with retailers and customers to drive category and business growth.\nGain hands-on experience with promotional planning, activations, innovation launches and commercial execution.\nLearn how Marketing, Customer Development, Shopper Marketing and Category teams work together to bring brands to life in-store and online.\nBuild analytical skills by working with sales, promotional and customer performance data.\nStrengthen stakeholder management and communication skills through collaboration with both internal teams and external partners.\nDevelop project management capabilities by coordinating multiple activities and priorities in a dynamic commercial environment.\nGain exposure to customer negotiations, commercial planning processes and retailer dynamics within a leading FMCG organization.\nTake ownership of meaningful projects that directly contribute to business performance and customer success.\nWhat we're looking for:\nAvailable for 5-6 months starting February-March 2027 (minimum 32-40 hours per week)\nCurrently enrolled in a (HBO) Dutch university, Bachelor's program (3rd or 4th year) or a Master's program\nEager to learn, challenge yourself, and take ownership of impactful projects\nAvailable to work on site 2-3 days a week at our Rotterdam Office\nFluency in Dutch and English\nWhat's in it for you?\n€625 gross internship allowance per month\nTravel reimbursement if you do not have a student travel card\nPublic Holidays + additional days off\nAccess to (mental) health and wellbeing resources\nOn-the-job coaching, regular feedback and support from experienced colleagues\nReady to take the next step in your career?\nShare your CV and motivation letter with us, and we'll guide you through the process every step of the way.
