We don’t believe in the ‘one size fits all’ approach and instead we will equip you with the tools you need to shape your own future.\nJOB PURPOSE\n\nThe role will support the effective management of cash, liquidity, banking relationships, foreign exchange exposure, funding, and treasury governance. The Junior Finance Manager will provide timely insights for decision-making, ensure accurate execution and reporting of treasury activities, and drive continuous improvement across treasury processes and controls. \nMain Responsibilities\nCash and Liquidity Management \n\nPrepare and monitor short- and medium-term cash flow forecasts, identify funding gaps or surpluses, and recommend actions. \nManage daily liquidity, bank balances, cash positioning, intercompany settlements, and payment readiness. \nPartner with business teams to improve forecast accuracy and working-capital visibility. \nFunding, Banking and Financial Risk \nSupport local and cross-border funding, deposits, guarantees, trade finance, dividend or capital remittances, and related documentation. \nMonitor foreign exchange and interest-rate exposures and support hedging decisions in line with approved policies. \nMaintain effective relationships with banks, regional and global Treasury, Tax, Legal, and other finance stakeholders. \nSupport negotiations on banking facilities, pricing, service levels, and transaction solutions. \nControls, Compliance and Reporting \nEnsure treasury activities comply with company policies, delegated authorities, banking mandates, exchange-control requirements, and applicable regulations. \nMaintain robust controls over payments, bank accounts, confirmations, reconciliations, treasury systems, and supporting documentation\nSupport month-end and year-end closure, treasury accounting, reconciliations, management reporting, audits, and statutory information requests. \nTrack treasury performance indicators and escalate material liquidity, exposure, compliance, or control risks promptly. \nBusiness Partnering and Improvement\nProvide treasury insights for business cases, investments, supplier or customer arrangements, and strategic initiatives. \nDrive automation, standardization, and process improvements across cash forecasting, payments, banking, and treasury reporting. \nSupport ad hoc treasury projects and cross-functional initiatives as required. \nCandidate Profile\nBachelor's degree in management, Finance, or a related field, together with part or full qualification in a recognized professional accounting qualification. Experience in Treasury, Finance, or Financial Control will be an added advantage. \nStrong experience in cost modelling, cash-flow forecasting, financial analysis, reconciliations, controls, and problem-solving, with high attention to detail. \nStrong stakeholder-management and negotiation skills, with the ability to convert data into actionable insights and work confidently with banks and senior internal stakeholders. \nProficiency in Excel, SAP, data analytics, and PowerPoint, combined with high learning agility, integrity, proactivity, results orientation, fluency in English, and strong organizational and presentation skills. \nUnilever is an organisation committed to equity, inclusion and diversity to drive our business results and create a better future, every day, for our diverse employees, global consumers, partners, and communities.
