If you are willing to set-up, operate, and maintain machinery, usually in a manufacturing setting and being responsible for ensuring the machine produces high-quality products, runs smoothly and at capacity, and is properly maintained, then this role is just for you!\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nComply with all safety, health and quality regulations.\nPerform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor.\nSet up machinery for operation.\nStart machinery and adjust machinery when necessary to improve performance.\nOperate machinery and equipment according to instructions.\nTroubleshoot issues and perform maintenance.\nClean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area.\nAssist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery.\nFeed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines.\nInspect parts with precision and measuring tools.\nFix issues that might occur during the shift.\nCheck output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws.\nKeep records of approved and defective units or final products.\nMaintain activity logs.\nCompound or process ingredients or dyes, according to formulas.\nRead work orders to determine production specifications or information.\nObserve production or monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.\nMix or blend ingredients by starting machines and mixing for specified times.\nDump or pour specified amounts of materials into machinery or equipment.\nCollect samples of materials or products for laboratory testing.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nDiploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Production.\n3 - 6 years in similar role in FMCG industry specially in deodorant production.\nPrevious proven machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility, or similar relevant experience.\nMust be detail oriented.\nUnderstanding of production and plant processes.\nAnalytical and numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement.\nAbility to follow written and oral instructions.\nAbility to work in a team.\nAbility to lift heavy equipment, to bend, and to stand or walk for long periods of time.\nWillingness to work in shifts.\nProficiency with hand tools.\nAbility to use digital apps & good command in Microsoft office.\nAbility to use SCADA systems.\nAbility to read blueprints, schematics and manuals\nGood communication skills\nUnilever is an organisation committed to equity, inclusion and diversity to drive our business results and create a better future, every day, for our diverse employees, global consumers, partners, and communities.
