S/he can perform troubleshooting, maintenance, improvements in the assigned machines to ensure they are kept at optimum condition. S/he is responsible for learning and developing his/her expertise in UMS methods & tools, knowledge of standards, technical/professional skills, and digital capabilities.\nROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nSafety and Quality\nFollow all safety and quality policies and procedures according to the existing guidelines.\nWear / Use prescribed PPEs.\nFollow standards on personal hygiene.\nUse LOTO during troubleshooting and CILT.\nEnsure that machine guarding is in place before and during production.\nUse proper tools and equipment during troubleshooting and autonomous maintenance activities.\nFollow prescribed work procedures and company safety rules and regulations.\nOperations\nOperate machinery safely and effectively in order to meet the production plan.\nConducts CRQS as per SOP.\nConduct troubleshooting of the line.\nConducts line clearance and other change-over preparations.\nFills in production checklists properly and timely.\nResponsible for checking production quality during production.\nSupports the Technical Engineering Operator in machine conversion from one SKU to another and vice versa with in standard time.\nSupports the technicians in the analysis and improvement of frequent breakdowns of mechanical components for the flexibles machines.\nAssist in performing audits to ensure compliance on Machinery Safety and related standards.\nPerform changeover, CIP, and COP of the flexibles machines.\nRelieves in other flexibles machine operators when needed.\nCoordinate with Engineering support team during breakdown.\nAccomplish OEE forms.\nMaintenance\nPerform routine activities such as operation, troubleshooting, minor repairs, and autonomous maintenance of flexibles machines and ensures that machines are available for production.\nPerform autonomous maintenance task based on the calendar given by the Preventive Maintenance Scheduler.\nParticipates in the EWO (emergency work order) filling up and execution of actions that relates to prevent any similar breakdown.\nUnilever Manufacturing System (UMS) and R2S\nUnderstands the R2S methodology and his/her interaction with PM/PD/FI pillar.\nKnows how to apply the methodologies of Autonomous Maintenance (AM) on his/her assigned machines.\nAble to UMS problem solving tools.\nAdmin\nComplies to the company COBP, CR&R.\nComplies to the SHE rules of the plant.\nComplies to the GMP and GHK rules of the plant.\nKPI/KAI\nSafety & Quality\nWaste Reduction\nService - OR, OEE\nCompliance to Machine Guarding Checklist\nOPL/OFI per Month\nDaily Compliance to Centerlining\nCIP Time\nFocused Improvement\nParticipates in Focused Improvement activities.\nExecutes agreed Focused Improvement actions.\nRaises improvement activities (OFI) and OPL.\nDigital: 1.) Able to operate simple gadgets such as smart phone and iPad; 2.) Able to use Unilever digital tools and platforms.\nManning: 1.) Participates in trainings and company events; 2.) Any other tasks related to his/her core job as may be required by his/her Line Manager.\nKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED\nGraduate of a technical course related to Manufacturing course or graduate of a TESDA course.\nFull knowledge of hazards within the workplace.\nUtilize appropriate safety and environmental procedure for people, process, materials, and equipment relevant to task.\nMust be a responsible, supportive, and reliable leader and must be a good team member capable of working within the highly effective team.\nCan adequately communicate issues relating to safety and quality and can provide operational observations and inputs to support decision making by operators, Cell Lead, First Line Manager / Process Engineer, and Production Manager.\nA working knowledge on how to identify, prioritize, and address problems using appropriate tools and techniques that eliminate recurrence.\nMust demonstrate initiative in improving the productivity / efficiency of flexibles machines.\nWilling to work in General Trias, Cavite\nWe highly encourage applicants to exclude information on age, gender, and school/s in view of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
