This role requires strong negotiation skills, supply chain expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders\nWHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE\n1. Supplier Sourcing and Evaluation:\nIdentify and assess potential third-party manufacturing partners based on safety, quality, capacity, capability, and cost-effectiveness.\nConduct thorough due diligence to ensure suppliers meet quality and regulatory standards.\nGovern the compliance and regularly evaluate the supplier performance.\n2. Negotiation and Contracting:\nNegotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with third-party manufacturers to secure the best possible terms.\nDraft and manage contracts, ensuring all legal and regulatory requirements are met.\n3. Supplier Relationship Management:\nDevelop and maintain strong relationships with external manufacturing partners, fostering open communication and collaboration.\nRegularly assess supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or service.\n4. Supply Chain Coordination:\nCollaborate with internal teams, including production, logistics, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to ensure smooth production and delivery processes.\nMonitor and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess inventory.\n5. Risk Management:\nIdentify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.\nStay updated on industry trends and market dynamics that could impact the supply chain.\n6. Data Analysis and Reporting:\nCollect and analyze data related to supplier performance, costs, and other relevant metrics.\nGenerate regular reports to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.\n7. Continuous Improvement:\nIdentify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs within the third-party manufacturing supply chain.\nWHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED\nExperiences & Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in engineering preferably.\nProven experience in procurement, low value sourcing, supply chain management, or vendor management, preferably in a manufacturing or consumer goods environment.\nStrong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.\nKnowledge of safety, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and manufacturing processes.\nAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.\nAttention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.\nFamiliarity with relevant industry regulations and standards.\nWillingness to travel for supplier visits, audits, and meetings as required.
