This role is responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and operational performance. The successful candidate will also drive Early Equipment Management (EEM) initiatives, ensuring equipment reliability, maintainability, and operational efficiency.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and coordinate engineering projects with global and local teams, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, output, and cost targets.\nManage project timelines, budgets, CAPEX spending, and progress reporting.\nOversee project planning, design, procurement, resource allocation, installation, and commissioning activities.\nResolve technical issues and project challenges to ensure successful project delivery.\nDevelop and implement technical standards aligned with User Requirement Specifications (URS).\nEnsure effective documentation, training, and handover to operational teams.\nConduct Risk Assessments and Management of Change (MOC) activities, implementing appropriate mitigation plans.\nPromote a strong culture of safety and quality throughout project execution.\nApply Early Equipment Management (EEM) principles to improve equipment reliability, maintainability, and operability.\nLead FMEA activities, vertical start-up planning, and equipment capability assessments.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors to achieve project objectives.\nDrive value engineering and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.\nIdentify and replicate best practices across production lines.\nQualifications and Skills\nBachelor's Degree in Electrical, Automation, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering discipline.\n3-5 years of experience in Project Engineering, Project Planning, or a similar engineering role.\nProven experience managing engineering projects and vertical start-ups.\nStrong knowledge of manufacturing project management methodologies and analytical tools.\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously across the full project lifecycle.\nStrong problem-solving, analytical, and continuous improvement mindset.\nExcellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.\nKnowledge of SAP, Power BI, Navisworks, and data visualization tools is advantageous.\nExperience with Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or other continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.\nGood command of written and spoken English.\nFamiliarity with FMCG manufacturing processes, technologies, and best practices.\nLeadership Capabilities\nChange Management\nStakeholder Management\nCommunicating with Impact\nLeadership and Influencing Skills\nIf you are passionate about driving engineering excellence and delivering impactful projects within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply.\nUnilever is an organisation committed to equity, inclusion and diversity to drive our business results and create a better future, every day, for our diverse employees, global consumers, partners, and communities.
