The role ensures high reliability and availability of instrumentation systems, supports maintenance activities, and drives digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, process control, safety, and data visibility.\nThe position supports end-to-end manufacturing operations including:\nRoasting\nExtraction\nFiltration\nEvaporation\nSpray Drying\nUtility Systems (Boilers, Water Treatment, Compressed Air, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Power Distribution, Fuel Systems)\nPackaging Operations\nDigital Manufacturing and Smart Factory Initiatives\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Instrumentation Maintenance & Reliability\nEnsure high availability and reliability of all field instrumentation across process and utility areas.\nMaintain and troubleshoot:\nFlow transmitters Pressure transmitters Temperature sensors (RTD/Thermocouples) Level transmitters Analytical instruments Weighing systems Control valves VFDs and actuators\nCarry out calibration, validation, loop checking, and preventive maintenance activities.\nDevelop calibration schedules and ensure compliance with quality requirements.\nMaintain instrument history, breakdown records, and reliability dashboards.\nDrive root cause analysis for recurring instrumentation failures.\n2. Process Automation & Control Systems\nSupport and maintain PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems across manufacturing operations.\nModify and optimize PLC logic to improve process stability and operability.\nDevelop automation solutions to reduce operator dependency and improve process consistency.\nManage plant interlocks, permissives, alarm management, and safety controls.\nLead commissioning and startup activities for automation projects.\nSupport process control optimization and advanced control applications.\nEnsure backup and restoration of automation systems.\nExposure Required\nSiemens PLC\nAllen Bradley PLC\nSCADA Systems\nHMI Configuration\nIndustrial Networking\nOPC Communication\n3. Utilities Instrumentation & Energy Optimization\nSupport automation and instrumentation of utility systems:\nSteam & Boiler Systems\nBoiler combustion optimization\nSteam flow measurement\nCondensate recovery systems\nFuel management systems\n4. Digital Manufacturing & Industry 4.0\nDrive the factory's digital transformation agenda by implementing:\nIoT-enabled monitoring systems\nSmart sensors\nDigital dashboards\nPredictive maintenance systems\nAsset performance monitoring\nAdvanced analytics\nDigital Twin applications\nProcess optimization models\nAI/ML-based manufacturing solutions\n6. OT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity\nMaintain OT systems and industrial networks.\nEnsure secure communication between IT and OT environments.\nImplement OT cybersecurity standards.\nMaintain:\nNetwork switches Servers SCADA infrastructure industrial PCs Data historians\nSupport disaster recovery and backup procedures.\n8.
