The Quality Manager will lead the site quality agenda, strengthen quality systems and capabilities, and partner with local and regional stakeholders to deliver sustainable business performance and innovation success. We invite you to be part of something bigger.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nLead, coach, and develop the site Quality team across Home Care and Personal Care operations, fostering high-performing, collaborative, and and continuous improvement culture.\nDefine, deploy, and monitor quality KPIs, translating performance data into actionable improvement plans that enhance product quality and operational excellence.\nOwn and execute the site Quality Masterplan, ensuring alignment with global standards, business priorities, and regulatory requirements.\nManage the site quality management system, ensuring effective governance, compliance, and operational effectiveness.\nLead internal and external quality audits, coordinate corrective and preventive actions, and ensure sustained compliance outcomes.\nPartner with suppliers and external stakeholders to strengthen supplier quality performance and proactively address quality risks.\nCollaborate with Innovation, SUIT, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful implementation of innovation projects, process changes, and new technologies.\nLead incident investigations, consumer complaint analysis, and root cause elimination activities to prevent recurrence and improve customer satisfaction.\nManage quality-related budgets, training programs, hygiene standards, and capability-building initiatives across the site.\nSupport the factory’s LEAN and UMS programs while championing the implementation of global quality standards and best practices.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, Microbiology, Pharmacy or a related technical discipline.\nMinimum 3-5 years of experience in an advanced quality management, senior specialist, or quality leadership role within a manufacturing environment.\nStrong understanding of quality systems, regulatory compliance, audit management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.\nFluent Hungarian and professional proficiency in English are required.\nAdvanced digital literacy, including Microsoft Office applications, data analytics tools, AI-enabled solutions, and digital quality systems.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nExperience in Home Care and Personal Care manufacturing environments, particularly with liquid products and aerosol technologies.\nPrevious experience leading multi-disciplinary quality teams within a fast-paced FMCG organization.\nKnowledge of LEAN manufacturing systems, UMS methodologies, and supplier quality management practices.\nISO audit certification.\nLEADERSHIP EXPECTATIONS\nDemonstrates resilience, accountability, and a strong results-oriented mindset while inspiring and enabling others to achieve ambitious goals.\nUses data, insights, and sound judgment to identify opportunities, solve problems, and support sustainable improvements.\nBuilds strong partnerships across functions and organizational levels, creating alignment and enabling successful delivery of business and factory strategies.\nEmbraces continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation while fostering an inclusive and respectful working environment.\nADDITIONAL INFORMATION\nBenefits (in line with the current company policy):\nCafeteria, snack card and canteen menu\nPrivate health package\nPrivate pension support\nCompany shop and product packages\nMental & physical wellbeing services\nCompany Car with fuel card\nTools:\nPC\nCompany phone\nIf you’d like to learn more about our benefits and policies, further details will be provided by Unilever’s Talent Acquisition team!\nThe compensation package and contractual level will be defined based on the candidate’s experience, technical skills, and seniority, as well as in alignment with internal equity principles.\nPlease submit your application in English.\nUnilever is an organisation committed to equity, inclusion and diversity to drive our business results and create a better future, every day, for our diverse employees, global consumers, partners, and communities.
