Facilitates teamwork and helps build an effective work relationship with other shifts. Supports members in team coordinator roles, helps resolve operational and personnel issues, supports the training certification process and resolves staffing resource issues. We invite you to be part of something bigger.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n\n Supervise and coordinate activities of production staff during the shift: Process / Operation, Start Up / Shutdown Procedure and Oversees the safe and efficient start-up and shutdown of the factory\n\n Resolve operational issues and escalate complex problems to management.\n\n Material Availability: Ensures the upstream Batch System (Storage tanks etc.) is set-up with correct ingredients and quantity to meet the production plan\n\n Operation: Ensures that machinery and equipment in area of responsibility is operated, maintained and changed over efficiently as per SOP\n\n Engineering: Drives development of operators to perform autonomous maintenance and inspection tasks equipment as per schedule including minor maintenance (i.e. replacing belts, chains, hoses, covers, knives etc\n\n Conduct shift handovers and communicate key updates to incoming teams.\n\n Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies.\n\n Resolve operational issues and escalate complex problems to management.\n\n Responsible for accurate approval of T&A hrs\n\n Manages absenteeism and overtime for the team\n\n Responsible to holding his team accountable on production activies and expectations\n\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\n\n National Diploma in Engineering or Engineering Technical qualification\n\nEXPERIENCE & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\n\n Strong leadership and management experience of a large team who work shifts\n\n 3- 5 years working experience in manufacturing environment\n\n Sound strategic and operational Production management experience\n\n Strong Industrial Relations experience unionized environment\n\n Support, guide and drive OHS and SHE regulations and standards and ensure compliance\n\nSKILLS\n\n Problem Solving and Decision Making\n\n Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.\n\n Production Planning & scheduling\n\n Computer literate & Usage of APPs\n\n Supply Chain Agility\n\n Continuous Improvement\n\n Ability to stakeholder management &
