identify trends and improvement opportunities; develop data-driven recommendations; and communicate findings to management to support business and operational decision-making.\nPlan, coordinate, and monitor quality improvement projects and corrective-action initiatives, including defining objectives, coordinating cross-functional resources, tracking action items, evaluating results, and ensuring timely completion.\nLead and facilitate cross-functional teams involving Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sales, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues, implement improvements, and achieve organizational objectives.\nEvaluate manufacturing processes and operational performance to identify opportunities for improvement in quality, productivity, cost, efficiency, and resource utilization, and support implementation of improvement initiatives.\nPrepare and present quality and operational performance reports, KPI trends, corrective action status, and improvement recommendations to management and relevant stakeholders.\nCollaborate with suppliers and customers to understand requirements, evaluate quality performance, develop corrective-action plans, and monitor resolution of issues while maintaining effective professional relationships.\nApply Lean, Six Sigma, statistical, and structured problem-solving methodologies to drive continuous improvement and achieve measurable improvements in quality, productivity, process capability, and operational performance.\nPerform visual and measurement inspections and evaluate compliance of products and processes,\nIdentify, document and communicate information concerning nonconformities and quality issues,\nCollect, organize, analyze and present findings and data,\nPrepare quality documents and records,\nUtilize quality tools such as Pareto, SPC, GR&R and DOE,\nAct as a customer liaison and lead resolution of customer complaints,\nOversee and assist suppliers with interpretation of quality requirements, investigation, root cause analysis and planning and implementation of corrections and corrective actions, while leading cross-functional teams, working independently and in a group setting,\nInterface with customer contacts to clarify customer requirements and close customer complaints,\nEvaluate and assist in development of product and process inspection criteria, key characteristics, inspection and sampling plans,\nRepresent Quality department in design and launch reviews,\nConduct internal audits and support management reviews,\nEvaluate, process and approve document change requests,\nRead drawings and schematics, evaluate correct application of GD&T, proper use of process and material specifications and designation of key characteristics for inspection,\nSupport measurement and analysis of KPI scores,\nFollow applicable procedures and work instructions, use forms to create quality records,\nFacilitate control of documents and records,\nSupport other Uniloy plants in implementation of initiatives of the Tecumseh, MI headquarters,\nReinforce product and workplace safety requirements,\nPerform other professional duties assigned by Quality Manager.\nRequirements\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor degree from an accredited academic institution,\n3 years of experience working as Quality Engineer at ISO 9001 certified company.\nAdvanced user experience in MS Office applications.\nAble to communicate clearly and professionally,\nProficient in technical writing,\nMotivated, self-driven and organized,\nExercises caution and situational awareness and uses safe practices and PPE.\nPreferred qualifications:\nstudies or knowledge in some or all of the following: mechanical, electromechanical, mechatronics and electronics components, metals and plastics processing, machinery, tooling, plastics extrusion and molding, metrology and GD&T, AIAG core tools, leading Kaizen events and product and process validation,\nASQ CQE and other certifications,\nISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification,\nexperience in management of supplier quality affairs, including CAPA plans, scorecards and supplier audits,\nexperience operating or programming a CMM,\nexperience working in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) regulated environment,\nexperience using ERP systems, i.e.: Epicor, 3DX, etc.\nWork Environment:\nOffice / Manufacturing environment.
