Unimacts Global is a subsidiary of Zetwerk, a global manufacturing platform backed by leading institutional investors.\nThe FTZ & Customs Project Coordinator manages Foreign-Trade Zone, bonded, and customs activity across a portfolio of 20 or more concurrent projects, covering both FTZ and commercial workflows. This is an individual contributor role based in Conroe, Texas, reporting to the FTZ Manager. The role is designed for someone with a strong U.S. customs and import background who can apply it in a project-driven environment. FTZ or bonded experience is preferred. The company will train on its own systems, procedures, and specific FTZ practices, but not on core customs or import concepts, which are expected on arrival.\nFTZ and Customs Operations\nSupport FTZ operations under the direction of the FTZ Manager, including zone admissions, transfers, and withdrawals.\nPrepare, review, and track customs and FTZ documentation, including CBP Forms 214, 3461, 7501, and 7512, in coordination with customs brokers.\nReview Arrival Notices, monitor customs clearance, and provide Delivery Orders and required documents to warehouses and carriers.\nCoordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and warehouse personnel on FTZ, bonded, and standard import shipments.\nMaintain accurate records of FTZ and bonded movements to support compliance with CBP requirements and audit readiness.\nInvestigate and resolve documentation and shipment discrepancies, and escalate compliance concerns to the FTZ Manager promptly.\nSystems, Records, and Data Integrity\nMaintain shipment, inventory, and project data in Microsoft Dynamics, including packing slips, loaded quantities, and delivered quantities.\nReconcile FTZ and bonded inventory records against system data and shipment documentation.\nRecord and report zone activity in the company's FTZ software. General familiarity with FTZ software is expected.\nBuild and maintain project trackers, delivery reports, and templates in Excel.\nProject Coordination\nManage assigned projects from shipment release through final customer delivery.\nDevelop and maintain project schedules based on material readiness, vessel and container arrival dates, warehouse capacity, and customer requirements.\nTrack international and domestic shipments and keep project trackers and delivery reports current.\nCommunicate regularly with internal teams and customers, including weekly delivery updates.\nRequire carriers and vendors to provide timely status updates, and escalate delays or service issues immediately.\nWork with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Production, Warehouse, and Compliance to resolve project issues.\nSupport project closeout by confirming final deliveries, outstanding invoices, and completion of logistics activities.\nSupport continuous improvement of trackers, templates, SOPs, and reporting tools.\nSupplemental Logistics Duties\nCoordinate final-mile trucking, loading schedules, delivery appointments, and customer site requirements.\nPrepare and distribute Bills of Lading, delivery schedules, and shipping instructions.\nLead project kickoff meetings with customers.\nReview logistics invoices against agreed rates, services performed, and purchase orders, and work with vendors and Finance on discrepancies, credits, and claims.\nMonitor transportation costs and identify unnecessary detention, demurrage, storage, or accessorial charges.\nRequirements\n3 or more years of experience in U.S. customs and import operations, customs brokerage, or trade compliance.\nWorking knowledge of U.S. import clearance and CBP documentation, and experience working with customs brokers.\nExperience maintaining shipment and inventory data in an ERP system.\nStrong Microsoft Excel skills and experience maintaining operational trackers and schedules.\nExperience coordinating with freight forwarders, carriers, and warehouses.\nAbility to manage 20 or more projects and priorities at the same time.\nAbility to work independently, identify issues, and drive actions through completion.\nStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.\nPreferred Qualifications\nHands-on experience with Foreign-Trade Zone or bonded warehouse operations.\nGeneral knowledge of FTZ or global trade management software.\nExperience with Microsoft Dynamics.\nWorking familiarity with CBP Forms 214, 3461, 7501, and 7512.\nExperience with project-based logistics or construction-site
