Read more in our Press Release\nAs a Maintenance Technician III, your primary responsibility is to perform advanced diagnostics, lead complex repairs, and improve equipment reliability across manufacturing operations. This role serves as a technical resource within the maintenance team, supporting uptime, process efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nResponsibilities:\nPerform advanced troubleshooting and repair of CNC machines, forging presses, conveyors, and automated systems\n\nDiagnose complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures using structured problem-solving methods\n\nLead response to critical equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime\n\nAnalyze equipment performance and identify recurring failure patterns\n\nRecommend and implement improvements to preventive and predictive maintenance programs\n\nAssist with installation, commissioning, and optimization of new equipment\n\nSupport PLC troubleshooting and basic control system diagnostics (if applicable)\n\nMentor and train Maintenance Technician I and II personnel\n\nEnsure compliance with safety standards and enforce proper procedures\n\nMaintain detailed and accurate maintenance records in CMMS systems\n\nCollaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment performance\n\nOther duties as assigned\n\nSkills and Preferred Knowledge\nAdvanced troubleshooting skills across multiple systems\n\nStrong understanding of industrial equipment including CNC and forging systems\n\nAbility to read and interpret complex schematics and technical documentation\n\nExperience with PLC systems and automated equipment preferred\n\nKnowledge of root cause analysis and reliability improvement methods\n\nStrong leadership and mentoring abilities\n\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills\n\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent (technical degree or certification preferred)\n\n5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing\n\nDemonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and repairing complex equipment\n\nExperience with automated or PLC-controlled systems preferred\n\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
