The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Power BI, Snowflake, Cognos, SQL, Databricks, and Azure Data Factory (ADF)This role involves designing and building scalable data pipelines, creating robust data models, and delivering actionable insights through advanced visualisations.\n\nThe core responsibilities for the job include the following:\n\nData Visualisation and Reporting: \nDesign, develop, and maintain interactive and static dashboards using Power BI.\nTranslate business requirements into intuitive and actionable visualisations.\nIntegrate data from multiple sources, including Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle and Cognos.\n\nData Engineering and Ingestion: \nBuild and manage data pipelines using Databricks, ETL, and Azure Data Factory (ADF) for efficient data ingestion and transformation.\nDevelop and optimise ETL workflows to support reporting and analytics needs.\nWork with Databricks to process large datasets and implement scalable data solutions.\n\nData Analysis and Modelling: \nPerform deep-dive analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.\nWrite complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation.\nCollaborate with data advisers to design robust data models in Snowflake and Databricks.\n\nData Governance and Documentation: \nEnsure data quality, integrity, and compliance with governance standards.\nDocument data flows, dashboard logic, and pipeline configurations.\nSupport audit and compliance requirements related to data usage and sharing.\n\nRequirements: \n7-10 years of experience in data analytics, visualisation, and engineering.\nStrong proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, custom visuals).\nHands-on experience with Snowflake - data modelling, query optimisation, and performance tuning.\nExperience with Cognos Analytics - report development and integration.\nAdvanced SQL skills - joins, subqueries, CTEs, and stored procedures.\nProficiency in Databricks -
