The ideal candidate ishighly proactive, takes initiative, and thrives both as a strong team player and as an independent (sole) contributoron business-critical assignments.\n\nResponsibilities: \nDevelop comprehensive test plans and strategies by analysing business and technical requirements.\nLead and manage full-cycle testing for energy trading software releases.\nDesign and maintain detailed test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.\nSupport Traders and end-users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).\nIdentify and implement improvements in test infrastructure, tooling, and automation.\nCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams during design and development phases to ensure testability.\nProactively drive testing initiatives and independently manage critical tasks or projects when needed.\nMonitor, track, and report test results and quality metrics.\n\nRequirements: \nDegree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.\n5+ years of experience as a Software Test Engineer.\nExperience testing trading applications in the Energy, Equity, or FX domains.\nProven expertise inManual testing: Functional, Regression, and System Integration.\nStrong test design and defect management skills using Azure DevOps, Jira, or ALM.\nHands-on experience with API testing tools (e. g., Postman, SoapUI, Rest Assured).\nProfessional fluency in English.\nExperience with Algo trading applications in energy or financial markets.\nProactive and should be able to contribute independently\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \nISTQB or equivalent Software Testing Certification.\nFamiliarity with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, UFT, or Tosca.\nBasic knowledge of performance testing (JMeter, BlazeMeter, or K6).\n\nSoft Skills and Cultural Fit: \nExcellent communication and collaboration skills;
