This includes delivering an excellent user experience and ensuring the platform continuously reflects market-leading value.\nKey Responsibilities\nPlatform Management & Operations\nOversee the migration from the existing pharmacy buying platform to the new system, ensuring a seamless transition for 300+ pharmacies. \nManage installs, onboarding, and ongoing user support. \nWork with technology partners to optimise platform usability, functionality, and reliability. \nProvide input into web layout and design, ensuring the interface is intuitive and pharmacy-friendly. \nPharmacy & Supplier Engagement\nAct as an independent assessor of supplier pricing, ensuring transparency and fairness for pharmacies. \nConsolidate and act on feedback from pharmacies and suppliers to continuously improve the platform. \nBuild and maintain strong relationships with pharmacies, ensuring their buying needs are represented in the platform roadmap. \nAssist the wholesale sales team on preparation of business proposals \nCommercial Insight, Negotiation & Competitor Analysis\nApply strong commercial acumen to identify, evaluate, and highlight supplier deals that deliver margin improvements for pharmacies. \nBenchmark supplier pricing and product ranges against competitors, providing live comparisons to demonstrate platform value to potential and existing customers. \nContinuously monitor competitor procurement platforms, promotions, and market offerings, ensuring our platform stays ahead in terms of pricing and product range. \nProcess Optimisation & Adoption\nDefine and refine buying workflows tailored to pharmacy procurement behaviours. \nDrive adoption and compliance across the pharmacy network through training, support, and communications. \nConsolidate user feedback into actionable improvements for both commercial and technical aspects of the platform. \nStrategic Growth & Development\nPosition the platform as a key driver of wholesale expansion and customer loyalty. \nMonitor KPIs such as pharmacy adoption rates, supplier participation, savings delivered, competitive positioning, and wholesale contribution. \nKeep abreast of changing pharmaceutical and wholesale market offerings, ensuring the platform remains at the forefront of customer value. \nSkills & Experience\nStrong commercial acumen with a proven ability to deliver competitive outcomes. \nExperience in competitor procurement analysis, including the delivery of live comparative insights for customers. \nBackground in overseeing platform installs, user onboarding, and migrations. \nKnowledge of web layout and design, ensuring user-friendly buying journeys. \nStrong skills in feedback consolidation, translating stakeholder input into platform improvements. \nExperience in pharmacy, pharmaceutical wholesale, procurement, or healthcare retail strongly preferred. \nDesirable\nHands-on experience with pharmacy procurement processes, pricing dynamics, and wholesale operations. \nKnowledge of Irish and EU pharmacy market trends. \nFamiliarity with buying/procurement platforms, e-procurement tools, or digital marketplaces. \nKey Attributes\nCommercially sharp, data-driven, and proactive in identifying market opportunities. \nSkilled negotiator with the ability to influence suppliers and win customer trust. \nCustomer-focused, with the ability to demonstrate value clearly against competitors. \nStrategic thinker with strong delivery skills in fast-changing environments. \nCollaborative, adaptable, and motivated to drive wholesale growth. \nUniphar Background\nUniphar Group is a rapidly expanding diversified healthcare services business with a global footprint and a proud heritage in Ireland.
