our engineering team and gain hands-on experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.\n\nThe intern will support engineering and production activities involving automation, equipment, electrical and mechanical systems, troubleshooting, process improvement and engineering data analysis.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nAssist engineers in supporting daily semiconductor manufacturing and engineering activities.\n\nSupport the monitoring, troubleshooting and improvement of automated manufacturing equipment.\n\nAssist with electrical, electronic, mechanical and control system troubleshooting under engineers' supervision.\n\nSupport equipment maintenance, performance monitoring and reliability improvement activities.\n\nAssist with automation and control system activities where applicable.\n\nCollect, analyse and maintain equipment and process performance data.\n\nAssist in identifying equipment issues and opportunities for automation or process improvement.\n\nParticipate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects.\n\nAssist with equipment testing, validation, modification and commissioning where applicable.\n\nSupport engineering trials and improvement projects.\n\nAssist in preparing engineering reports, presentations, work instructions and technical documentation.\n\nWork closely with Production, Process, Equipment, Quality and other cross-functional engineering teams.\n\nEnsure compliance with company safety, quality and operational procedures.\n\nPerform other engineering-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.\n\nRequirements\n\nRequirements\n\nCandidate must be currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering Technology, Robotics Engineering, Automation Engineering or a related field.\n\nBasic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic and control systems.\n\nUnderstanding of automation, robotics, sensors, actuators, PLC or control systems will be an advantage.\n\nBasic programming knowledge such as PLC, C/C++, Python or MATLAB will be an added advantage.\n\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.\n\nKnowledge of CAD, industrial automation, robotics or machine vision will be an advantage.\n\nGood communication and interpersonal skills.\n\nAble to work independently and as part of a team.\n\nWilling to learn and work in a fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment.\n\nSkills\nRobotic Process Automation,
