The ideal candidate should be a senior developer with a solid experience on devops and exposure to Murex.\nResponsibilities:\nMinimum 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in a financial institution.\nFamiliar with Murex service architecture, application configuration, service start/stop, housekeeping etc. \nProvision new Murex test environments as requested by project teams by following the official bank’s \nSupport and maintain the test environments, e.g. application files change, database operation, housekeeping etc. \nExecute ad-hoc jobs and EOD jobs manually, by scripting or by tools like control-M. \nTroubleshoot service and job execution issues for the test environment. \nInject Murex configuration into test environments by following runbooks \nSupport projects Go Lives and Mock Runs during weekends. \nInclude, but are not limited to:\nSetup and Build SIT/UAT Application\nSetup interface connectivity - MQ, SFTP, Connect Direct, Omgeo, Bpipe, BSMT TOF, RTNS etc\nRefresh Test Environment (data refresh, data masking)\nPerform Thorough Sanity Checks post Environment preparation, including connectivity (if any)\nPrepare and submit relevant regular/adhoc automation jobs related to Test Environment\nMonitor and track the utilization of the test servers (App and DB), including storage space\nSetup key alerts on resource capacity and perform regular review and housekeeping to manage server stability and performance.\nParticipate and perform application upgrade (Murex version/binaries) • Participate actively and coordinate in other upgrades covering Hardware upgrade patches\nAssess and recommend additional Hardware/software to support the requests, should the need surface\nTrack and maintain up-to-date Hardware/Software Inventory and Connectivity\nGuide and support PROD/DR Env setup\nCoordinate and participate in production deployment.\nThe role is about being responsible for automating manual processes and building new tools to improve the efficiency and quality of the Murex environments.\nExamples of assignments include writing scripts to automate the refresh of environments, building tools to version control Murex configuration files or creating a dashboard to monitor the health of environments.\nEssential:\nProficient in Murex configurations and Configuration Template Tool from GUI and Linux console \nAble to identify the dependencies for Murex configurations, merge configurations and optimize the configuration templates \nAble to trouble shoot issues arisen in configuration import and export \nAble to optimize the runbook procedure and reduce the time and effort \nProficient in scripting and tools to enhance DevOps procedure \nFamiliar with CICD concept and able to coordinate the test team for the regression and sanity test involved \nSupport projects Go Lives and Mock
