The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Teradata architecture, banking data platforms, data modelling, performance optimization, and integration with core banking and financial systems.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and lead end-to-end Teradata data warehouse architecture for banking and financial services applications.\nTranslate banking business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance data architecture solutions.\nDevelop and review data models, database structures, ETL/ELT processes, and complex Teradata SQL queries.\nOptimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, partitioning, workload management, and capacity planning.\nIntegrate data from core banking, payments, cards, loans, customer information, and other banking systems.\nSupport banking data initiatives involving regulatory reporting, financial reporting, risk management, AML, and compliance.\nEstablish data architecture standards, data quality controls, data governance practices, and security requirements.\nWork closely with business analysts, data engineers, solution architects, application teams, and banking stakeholders.\nLead technical design reviews, resolve complex data issues, and provide architectural guidance to development teams.\nSupport data warehouse modernization, platform migration, and enterprise data transformation initiatives.\nRequired Skills & Experience\nStrong experience as a Teradata Architect, Data Warehouse Architect, or Senior Teradata Technical Lead.\nExtensive hands-on experience with Teradata database architecture, SQL, performance tuning, and large-scale data warehousing.\nStrong knowledge of dimensional data modelling, enterprise data integration, ETL/ELT, and data warehouse design.\nProven experience delivering data solutions within banking or financial services environments.\nGood understanding of banking data domains such as core banking, customer data, transactions, payments, cards, loans, risk, or finance.\nExperience with complex data flows, high-volume transaction data, data reconciliation, and data quality management.\nKnowledge of banking regulatory reporting, AML, risk management, or compliance data is an advantage.\nStrong technical leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working with large banks or financial institutions on enterprise data warehouse projects.\nExposure to banking platforms and integration with upstream and downstream financial systems.\nExperience in Teradata migration, modernization, cloud data platforms, or hybrid data architecture.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.\nIdeal Candidate\nA hands-on Teradata Architect with strong banking domain knowledge who can own end-to-end data architecture, understand complex banking data flows, optimize high-volume transaction processing, and deliver secure, scalable, and reliable enterprise data warehouse
