The candidate will partner with Unison executives and external consultants to identify and implement tax and accounting strategies across multinational operations. The candidate will lead the day-to-day compliance operations, with direct responsibility for all tax and accounting activities.\nThe Job:\nGlobal Financial Close Oversight\nCoordinate and manage the financial close process for multiple entities worldwide, ensuring adherence to deadlines and internal controls\nReview and analyze financial data from various entities to identify and resolve discrepancies\nPrepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation in multiple currencies\nMulti-Entity Account Reconciliations:\nPerform complex account reconciliations for multiple entities, including bank accounts, intercompany accounts, and accruals\nInvestigate and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner, considering currency exchange rate fluctuations and other global factors\nMulti-Currency Financial Statement Preparation:\nAssist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple entities\nPrepare financial statements in multiple currencies, including translation adjustments and consolidation\nInternal Controls:\nMaintain and strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards across multiple entities\nIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in a global context\nAd-hoc Analysis:\nConduct ad-hoc financial analyses as required to support global business decisions\nProvide insights and recommendations based on financial data from multiple entities and currencies\nRequired Education and Experience:\nBachelor's degree in the field of Accounting or Finance\nCPA certification\n8+ years of relevant experience\nPrevious experience managing general ledger accounting and monthly close\nExperience with multi-entity management\nExperience with transfer pricing\nExperience with lease accounting and FX accounting a plus\nHighly analytical, and organized with exceptional attention to detail\nExpert knowledge of Excel and ERP\nPersonal Attributes:\nThe successful candidate will bring a high level of ethical, intellectual, professional, and personal values that complement the team and company culture, including:\nEntrepreneurial spirit and willingness to learn.\nStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.\nProven ability to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.\nOutstanding analytical skills.\nOther Details:\nCompetitive salary, remote work, paid holidays, paid time off, and paid bereavement\nMust be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship\nPlease note that we do not currently have an office in Luxembourg -
