As an Assistant Project Manager, you are eager to learn, take initiative, and contribute to the successful delivery of construction projects. You have excellent communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a passion for the construction industry.\nWhat you’re responsible for\nAs an Assistant Project Manager, you will support the Project Manager in overseeing construction projects from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include:\nAssisting with the coordination and management of all project phases, including planning, execution, and closeout.\nCollaborating with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.\nAssisting in preparing project schedules, budgets, and work plans.\nMonitoring project progress, tracking milestones, and updating project documentation.\nSupporting procurement efforts, including tracking materials and equipment deliveries.\nHelping to manage subcontractor performance and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.\nConducting site visits to aid with inspections, meetings, and quality control activities.\nHelping to address any issues or changes that arise during construction, ensuring timely resolutions.\nPreparing and distributing regular project status reports to stakeholders.\nAiding with the project financials, including invoice approvals and budget tracking.\nContributing to the continuous improvement of project management processes and practices.\nYour Experience & sills\nA University degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or a related field (or equivalent experience).\n1-3 years of experience in construction, project management, or a similar role.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.\nAbility to use project management software such as Procore, MS Project, or similar tools.\nBasic understanding of construction processes, methods, and safety standards.\nAbility to work on-site as needed and attend project meetings.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.\nThe statements in this job description are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this role.
