This role will play a key part in infrastructure modernization, migration, virtualization, and transformation projects across complex enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will possess senior-level expertise in Windows Server administration, VMware virtualization technologies, automation, and enterprise infrastructure operations, while collaborating closely with architects, engineers, project teams, and business stakeholders.\nU.S. Citizenship is required.\nResponsibilities\nBuild, migrate, and perform in-place upgrades of Windows Server operating systems (2012, 2016, 2022, and 2025).\nDesign, implement, and support enterprise Windows Server and VMware-based infrastructure solutions.\nParticipate in Cloud and Hybrid Cloud transformation, migration, consolidation, and modernization initiatives.\nInstall, configure, upgrade, and maintain server hardware, operating systems, virtualization platforms, and associated software.\nAdminister and maintain VMware ESXi, vSphere, vCenter, and related VMware technologies.\nCoordinate system backup, storage, networking, and recovery operations to ensure high availability and business continuity.\nDevelop and implement automation solutions using PowerShell, PowerCLI, Python, or similar technologies to streamline administration and operational processes.\nProvide advanced troubleshooting and third-level support for complex infrastructure issues affecting servers, virtualization, operating systems, storage, and networking components.\nExecute complex infrastructure changes and develop detailed implementation and back-out plans.\nMonitor enterprise systems, antivirus solutions, patch compliance, performance metrics, and user administration activities.\nConduct health checks, capacity analysis, log reviews, incident investigations, and root cause analysis.\nPrepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and knowledge articles.\nUtilize AI-assisted tools such as Anthropic Claude to improve documentation quality, technical analysis, automation development, and operational efficiency.\nCommunicate project status, risks, issues, and recommendations to clients, stakeholders, and management.\nSupport disaster recovery, resiliency, and business continuity initiatives within enterprise and cloud environments.\nYou will be successful in this role if you have:\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree or equivalent experience.\n7+ years of Windows Server administration experience in enterprise environments.\n7+ years of hands-on VMware virtualization experience (ESXi, vSphere, vCenter).\nWindows Server (2012, 2016, 2022, 2025) - build, upgrade, migration, and administration.\nVMware ESXi, vSphere, vCenter, and related virtualization technologies.\nPowerShell, PowerCLI, and/or Python scripting for automation.\nServer hardware, storage, and networking fundamentals supporting virtualized environments.\nBackup, recovery, and high-availability/business continuity solutions.\nActive Directory, Group Policy, and Windows infrastructure services.\nPatch management, antivirus/endpoint compliance, and performance monitoring tools.\nExperience with incident investigation, root cause analysis, and change management processes.\nStrong technical documentation skills (architecture diagrams, runbooks, knowledge articles).\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience with AI-powered productivity and technical analysis tools, including Anthropic Claude, is highly desirable. \nExperience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Cloud VMware Solution (OCVS) is preferred but not required.\nThis role may require access to export-controlled commodities and technology.
