This role leads a customer-facing, multi-disciplinary delivery team embedded within the customer's organization and is responsible for the successful execution of a wave-based migration programmed operating within a Migration Factory model.\nWorking within the customer's governance, architecture, security, and operational frameworks, the Project Delivery Lead is the primary point of accountability for delivery outcomes and serves as the senior interface between Unisys and customer stakeholders. The role ensures migration activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with agreed business outcomes, architecture standards, security requirements, and programme objectives.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDelivery Leadership\nLead the end-to-end delivery of application migration and modernization initiatives across Azure and AWS, spanning discovery, assessment, planning, design, build, migration, testing, cutover, and transition to support.\n\nOwn the successful delivery of migration waves, ensuring programme objectives, milestones, scope, quality, schedule, and budget commitments are achieved.\n\nDirect and coordinate multi-disciplinary delivery teams, including solution architects, business analysts, migration specialists, security and compliance architects, cloud engineers, and testing resources.\n\nAct as the single point of accountability for delivery outcomes and customer satisfaction.\n\nMigration Factory Operations\nLead delivery within a Migration Factory operating model, managing the prioritisation and sequencing of applications into migration waves based on business value, technical complexity, risk, and dependencies.\n\nOversee application lifecycle management and migration decision-making, ensuring appropriate migration strategies (7Rs framework) are applied to each application.\n\nContinuously improve migration processes, delivery methodologies, tooling, and governance to increase throughput, productivity, quality, and predictability.\n\nStakeholder and Customer Management\nEstablish trusted relationships with customer stakeholders across business, technology, architecture, cyber security, and programme governance functions.\n\nLead requirements gathering, validation, and prioritisation activities with business owners and subject matter experts.\n\nRepresent Unisys in programme governance forums, steering committees, architecture review boards, and security review processes.\n\nManage communication, expectations, escalations, and decision-making across all stakeholders.\n\nGovernance, Risk and Compliance\nOwn programme governance activities including planning, reporting, RAID management, dependency management, and executive communications.\n\nEnsure compliance with customer security, architecture, operational and regulatory requirements.\n\nLead approval processes through architecture, design, security, operational readiness, and release governance gates.\n\nIdentify, manage, and mitigate programme risks and issues to minimise delivery impacts.\n\nResource and Vendor Management\nManage workforce planning, resource allocation, capacity management, utilisation, and scaling of the delivery team.\n\nCoordinate third-party suppliers, subcontractors, and cloud partners to ensure delivery alignment with programme objectives and governance requirements.\n\nEnsure effective knowledge transfer, capability uplift, and development of delivery team members.\n\nDevSecOps and Delivery Excellence\nDrive adoption of DevSecOps practices, automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native delivery approaches.\n\nEnsure approved tools, platforms, AI capabilities, and development frameworks are used in accordance with customer governance and security requirements.\n\nOversee transition and handover activities to service operations and support teams, ensuring operational readiness and sustainable support models.\n\nRole Requirement:\nExtensive experience leading large-scale application migration and modernisation programmes to Azure and AWS cloud platforms.\n\nProven track record delivering complex transformation initiatives within highly regulated and security-conscious environments.\n\nStrong experience working within government, defence, or secure enterprise environments subject to architecture, security, and compliance controls.\n\nDemonstrated success leading customer-facing delivery teams across multiple disciplines and workstreams.\n\nExperience delivering programmes using Agile, Scaled Agile, hybrid delivery methodologies, and wave-based migration approaches.\n\nExperience operating within a Migration Factory or similar industrialised delivery model.\n\nTechnical Skillsets: Strong understanding of Azure and AWS cloud platforms and migration frameworks.\n\nSolid knowledge of application lifecycle management, cloud adoption strategies, and application modernisation approaches.\n\nWorking knowledge of DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, automation, and cloud governance frameworks.\n\nUnderstanding of migration assessment methodologies, application dependency mapping, infrastructure integration, testing, cutover planning, and operational transition strategies.\n\nYou will be successful in this role if you have:\nNV1 Security Clearance is required for this role.\n\nProject Management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent).\n\nAzure Certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or equivalent), AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, Cloud Practitioner, or equivalent).is desirable\n\nITIL Foundation or higher certification.\n\nUnisys
