In this permanent position, you will be responsible for managing outstanding accounts and pursuing payment recovery through professional and persistent communication.\nThe successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our organisation's cash flow and ensuring timely collection of receivables. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong organisational skills and the ability to navigate complex payment situations with professionalism and efficiency.\nMonitor and analyse outstanding accounts to identify overdue payments and collection opportunities;\nContact clients via telephone, email, and written correspondence to pursue payment of outstanding debts;\nNegotiate payment arrangements and settlement terms with clients to facilitate debt recovery;\nMaintain accurate and detailed records of all collection activities, payment agreements, and client interactions within the collections management system;\nProcess payments received and reconcile accounts to ensure proper credit application;\nInvestigate payment discrepancies and resolve disputes with clients and internal departments;\nPrepare regular collection reports and provide analysis on collection performance and trends;\nFollow up on promised payments and escalate non-compliant accounts as necessary;\nEnsure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies throughout the collections process;\nCollaborate with the Accounts Receivable team to optimise collection strategies and improve recovery rates.\n Required:\nMinimum 2-3 years' experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related credit management role • Proficiency in collections management software and accounting systems;\nStrong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally;\nExcellent organisational and time-keeping abilities with capacity to manage multiple accounts simultaneously;\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook);\nDemonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to analyse payment patterns and collection data; \nStrong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry;\nKnowledge of payment recovery procedures and credit management principles.\nDesirable:\nProficiency in Portuguese language (written and spoken);\nExperience with CRM software platforms;\nFamiliarity with dispute resolution and regulatory compliance in collections;\nPrevious experience in a fast-paced financial services environment;\nCertification in credit management or collections practice.\nDutch knowledge is a plus.\n Who we are?\nWe are a people-first community that nurtures all the areas that surround your working experience.
