The team develops analytics products, forecasting models, automation, and decision-support solutions that support Flight Operations priorities.\nRole Overview\nThis role applies advanced analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and statistical modeling techniques to solve complex business problems, improve operational efficiency, and support strategic initiatives across Flight Operations. The role works closely with business stakeholders, analysts, data engineers, and technology partners to develop scalable analytical solutions and clear, actionable recommendations.\nJob responsibilities:\nExecute solutions to business problems using statistical modeling, machine learning, optimization and predictive analytics techniques\n\nAnalyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities that improve operational decision making\n\nDesign and deploy scalable analytical products, dashboards and automated decision-support solutions\n\nDevelop AI and Generative AI use cases including LLM-based solutions, text analytics and workflow automation\n\nPartner with business stakeholders to translate operational challenges into analytical solutions and recommendations\n\nContinuously improve analytical methodologies, models and processes through innovation and best practices\n\nThis position is offered on local terms and conditions. Engineering, Operations Research, Economics, or related quantitative field \nAt least 3+ years of experience in modeling/ machine learning required\nProven comfort and an intellectual curiosity for working with very large sets of data, and hands-on knowledge in predictive modeling\nStrong knowledge of either R or Python\nBe experienced in manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high dimensionality data from various sources to highlight patterns and relationships\nUnderstanding of how and when to apply predictive and machine learning techniques like logistic regression, random forest, GBM, Neural Nets, SVM etc. is required\nBe proficient in using database querying tools and able to write complex queries and procedures using Teradata SQL and/or Microsoft TSQL\nExperience building analytical outputs using Power BI or similar visualization tools\nWorking knowledge of AI/GenAI concepts such as LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, AI model evaluation, and responsible AI
