If you’re ready to work on our planes, join our Tech Ops experts and help keep our fleet in tip-top shape.\nJob Overview and Responsibilities\nThe Technical Operations Reliability team ensures United operates safely and dependably by analyzing aircraft defects and operational disruptions. The team monitors trends to notify maintenance and engineering teams of emerging issues and probable corrective actions.\nThe Engineer will aim to provide accurate information and useful insights to help multiple divisions make better data-driven decisions. They will be responsible for identifying root causes of key aircraft issues through reporting and analysis. The role includes both strategic and tactical responsibilities: long-term modifications to United’s fleet and maintenance program, as well as day-to-day identification of recurring aircraft system failures.\nProviding accurate and useful data on time including, but not limited to, identifying ATA codes for tech ops interruptions, identifying component/ condition/ other details for system failures, identifying top system failures, supporting fleet reliability meetings\nTracking fleet trends and highlighting potential issues by performing operational drill-downs and using aircraft engineering expertise\nRegulatory reporting and operational support\nSupporting ongoing reliability/fleet initiatives and ad-hoc requests\nRecommending reliability, safety improvements through comprehensive analysis\nCreating and managing fleet and reliability dashboards\nThis position is offered on local terms and conditions.
