If you’re ready to work on our planes, join our Tech Ops experts and help keep our fleet in tip-top shape.\nJob overview and responsibilities\nMaintenance Training Supervisors duties include the oversight of the Maintenance Training program in accordance with Regulatory and\nCompany guidelines\nResponsible for the oversight of the design, development, and delivery of training to technical operations personnel as well as supplier companies\nThis is to include the development of computer based training when necessary\nWill assist the Maintenance Training Instructors and Designated Instructors to achieve and maintain a high level of competency with regard to the aircraft and systems classes assigned to them\nThis is to include the following: Monitor and prioritize current and future training needs\nIdentify and allocate resources to meet development and training requirements\nPrimary liaison between instructors and other departments as needed to achieve departmental goals\nManage daily administrative tasks such as time and attendance, comp time, overtime, vacations, monitoring instructor expenses, and etc.\nProvide training programs to Tech Ops employees\nMonitor training needs to ensure programs and materials are with CFR 14 Part 121.375 and Company Ops Specs\nEvaluation of teaching techniques and continued improvement opportunities\nEvaluate classroom and coach instructors to maintain constant and current readiness flow\nInteract with other departments to ensure technical data is readily available to departmental staff\nDaily administrative tasks\nQualifications\nWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent work experience2. Qualifications/ Certifications\nFAA A&P License\n5 years in the aircraft maintenance industry with a minimum 2 years in management involving a leadership role\nExtensive technical knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance operations, and applicable FAA regulations \nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship\nSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualification\nReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position\nWhat will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):\nAviation related degree\nFCC License \n2 years in a leadership role within a maintenance organization including a unionized labor workforce\nA proven successful track record\nFamiliarity with FAA-H-8083-9 Revision\nA Aviation Instructors Handbook\n\nMaintenance training instructor experience\nFamiliarity with Aircraft Structural Maintenance, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), or Regulatory Compliance\nDemonstrates an understanding of the capabilities and limitations of generative AI tools and effectively leverages them for research, analysis, content creation, and problem-solving. Applies critical thinking to validate AI-generated outputs while adhering to company policies related to responsible AI use, data privacy, and security.\n\nThe base pay range for this role is $132,421.50 to $161,848.50.\nThe base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills.
