If you’re ready to work on our planes, join our Tech Ops experts and help keep our fleet in tip-top shape.\nJob Overview and Responsibilities\nThe Tech Ops Station Supervisor is responsible for oversight and ownership of a 24/7 operation encompassing operational, administrative, and technical areas. This role ensures the highest level of product delivery while maintaining compliance with FAA requirements and Company guidelines. The Tech Ops Station Manager supervises and coordinates all maintenance activities at their location, working directly with regulatory authorities, airport authorities, and vendors to ensure regulatory compliance.\nThe successful candidate will be required to set a standard of excellence through their actions and decisions, fostering a culture of responsibility and high achievement.\nProvide leadership and direction to maintenance organization, (including MX, GSE, FX, JL where applicable) and labor workforce to maximize productivity and output in accordance with collective bargaining agreements while ensuring necessary resources are available\nEnsure safety and security of aircraft and operations\nExecute station performance goals, environmental goals, and objectives aligning with divisional and company goals\nEnsure regulatory compliance of Technical Operations activities to achieve maximum productivity and cost control\nTrack and analyze station performance\nOrder and secure required station supplies, process monthly invoices and manage local budget\nSupport investigations (as appropriate) into performance, safety, complaints, and other work-related issues\nInterface with regulatory authorities, airport authorities, vendors, and local government to ensure regulatory compliance of Technical Operations activities\nMaintain regular and prompt communication, including attending local meetings, town halls, RAP sessions, e-mail/voicemail follow-up, and incident reports\nMaintain a high level of awareness of operational, financial, compliance, safety, and employee relations\nReport status of operations, highlighting significant events to Senior leadership while providing direction to assigned station personnel to ensure divisional objectives are achieved\nQualifications\nWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):\nBachelor's degree or related experience\nElectronic, mechanical, or related field\nFAA Airframe & Powerplant lLicense3 required\n\nMinimum one year experience in a Supervisory role\nWorking knowledge of technical operations policies and procedures\nWritten and oral communication\nExtensive knowledge of aircraft maintenance operations and applicable FAA regulations\nValid driver’s license\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship\nSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualification\nReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position\nWhat will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):\nMaster's degree or related experience\nLean Six Sigma Certified Green Belt or Black Belt\nExperience supervising a unionized workforce in Technical Operations division\nProficient in scheduling, eTA and performance management system to support front line employees, and colleagues\nStrong written and oral communication\nStrong skills in conflict resolution and decision-making\nProficient in appropriate work group and office productivity software\nPrinciples of project management\nThe base pay range for this role is $134,663.40 to $164,588.60.\nThe base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills.
