Other duties may be assigned.\nProvides customer service satisfaction to patients in a courteous and professional manner in accordance with performance standards\nWorks incoming referrals logs and contacts patients to schedule appointments.\nRegister and schedule patient appointments following established procedures.\nProcess incoming requests for patient medical records by accessing the EHR and logging the releases appropriately.\nPrepare patient charts in the practice management system by sending patients electronic forms for completion, ensuring forms have been completed and accepted into the system, validating insurance coverage, determining proper payment upon check in.\nWorking any of the weekly reporting- recalls, cancellation/no shows, waitlist and missed visits reports and relating any follow up to practice staff as appropriate.\nMonitoring of generic practice email inboxes for action required as needed.\nWorking the online scheduling worklist in the practice management system.\nExperience Requirements\nMinimum one-year experience in customer service, preferably in a related clinical environment\nAbility to take direction and work with other staff both onsite and remotely.\nEducation, Licensure & Certification Requirements\nHigh School diploma or equivalent \nAssociates degree or related healthcare certification, preferred\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy, professional attitude, reliable\nAbility to handle confidential and sensitive information\nAbility to communicate in an active multi-office environment\nAbility to efficiently operate all job-related office equipment\nAbility to follow or provide verbal and written instructions\nAbility to relate to persons with diverse educational, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds\nBasic to intermediate computer operation\nMathematical and/or analytical ability for basic to intermediate problem solving\nSpecialty knowledge of systems
