This role requires precision, physical stamina, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\nMeasure and mark ceiling layouts according to blueprints, specifications, or project requirements.\nInstall suspended ceiling grid systems, acoustic panels, tiles, and other ceiling components.\nCut and shape materials using hand and power tools to ensure a precise fit.\nInspect and prepare surfaces for installation, ensuring structural integrity and proper alignment.\nSecure ceiling components to walls, beams, or other structural elements.\nCollaborate with team members, contractors, and supervisors to ensure project timelines are met.\nFollow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.\nTroubleshoot and resolve installation challenges as they arise.\nPerform quality checks to ensure the finished product meets company and client standards.\nOther responsibilities as assigned.\nQualifications:\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. \nEducation/Experience:\nHigh school diploma/GED or above.\n4-5+ years of experience in commercial or industrial new build and/or remodel construction.\nSkills and Competencies:\nProficiency in using tools and equipment related to ceiling installation. Experience with specialized ceiling systems, such as soundproofing, or fire related installations.\nFamiliar with various ceiling materials, including metal, wood, and fiberglass.\nStrong understanding of construction blueprints and technical drawings.\nKnowledge of building codes and safety regulations\nHigh level of attention to detail, and highly organized. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.\nThe ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities depending on project needs. The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and employees.\nAbility to work in a construction site environment (trailer office).\nLanguage Proficiency:\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English.\nNice to have:\nStart-up experience.\nOSHA 10 or 30 certificate.\nAdditional Requirements:\nMust have and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license. May be required to travel to other sites within Arizona to perform certain work functions.\nWork Authorization:\nPlease note that this position is not eligible for sponsorship.
