The ideal candidate will have strong experience with welding processes, a deep understanding of safety protocols, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics to ensure projects are completed accurately and efficiently.\nApply today to learn more! \n** This is a full-time onsite position located in North Phoenix, AZ** \nEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\nUse MIG, TIG, stick, and other welding techniques to join, fabricate, and repair metal components according to project specifications.\nRead and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine appropriate welding techniques.\nCut and align metal materials before welding, ensuring proper fit and finish.\nFabricate and weld structural components, pipes, beams, and other items as needed, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.\nInspect welded joints and components to ensure that they meet company and industry standards, making any necessary adjustments to prevent defects.\nSet up and operate welding machines, hand tools, and power tools required to complete jobs.\nAdhere to company safety policies, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and following proper handling techniques for hazardous materials.\nConduct routine maintenance on welding equipment and perform repairs on metal structures as needed.\nWork alongside engineers, fabricators, and other team members to meet project deadlines and ensure work quality.\nMonitor welding processes to avoid overheating, warping, shrinking, or other welding defects, ensuring the final product meets quality standards.\nOther responsibilities as assigned.\nQualifications:\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.\nEducation/Experience:\nHigh School diploma/GED.\nCompletion of a technical school welding program, required.\n Ability to attend and pass a third-party welding test (PNL - Phoenix National Laboratories).\n2-5+ years of welding experience in construction or manufacturing environment.\nRelevant welding certification\nSkills and Competencies: \nProficiency in MIG, TIG, arc, and stick welding.\nExperience with fabrication tools, including grinders, drills, and saws.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.\nStrong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.\nStrong organization and time management skills.\nAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.\nAbility to effectively prioritize responsibilities depending on project needs. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, and employees.\nAbility to develop and maintain successful relationships with all levels of employees, clients, and subcontractors.\nMust be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude.\nAbility to work in a construction site environment (trailer office)\nLanguage Proficiency:\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English.\nAbility to communicate in Mandarin, preferred.\nAdditional Requirements:\nMust have and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license.
