Our goal is to bring fusion electricity to the grid by developing the power stations of tomorrow and the skilled workforce to deliver them.\nAbout the job\nThe successful candidate will lead communications and engagement activities supporting UKAEA's Estates function, including major infrastructure investments, campus development projects, workplace improvements, sustainability initiatives and stakeholder engagement. They will help ensure staff, tenants, contractors, partners and local communities are informed and engaged as UKAEA's estate evolves to support the organisation's growth\nThis is initially a 2 year contract until November 2028.\nWhat You’ll be Doing\nDevelop and deliver the marketing and communications strategy for Culham Campus.\nCreate annual marketing plans, including budgets, target audiences and performance measures.\nLead integrated campaigns across digital, print, social media, events and other relevant channels.\nProvide strategic communications advice to Estates leadership, including on complex or sensitive issues.\nOversee communications for Estates planning, public engagement, tenant relations and redevelopment activity.\nStrengthen the Culham Campus brand through media, speaking opportunities, events and promotional content.\nManage external communications agencies, suppliers and Estates contractors.\nBuild relationships with tenants, local authorities, strategic partners and other external stakeholders.\nWork with the central Communications team on major Estates projects, campus developments and media opportunities.\nMonitor campaign performance and provide insight to improve future marketing and communications activity.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nA relevant degree or a substantial background in marketing or communications.\nA strong track record of developing and delivering communications strategies.\nDemonstrable success leading communications for complex, high-profile programmes or projects.\nPrevious responsibility for acting as a communications business partner or strategic adviser to senior leaders.\nProven capability in preparing and managing budgets.\nA background in briefing and managing external agencies and suppliers.\nUKAEA is an onsite organisation, and this role requires regular onsite presence (usually between 3-5 days in any given week) in line with business needs.
