Come grow your career with us.\nJob Responsibilities\nSupport the establishment and maturation of the GIS Security Engineering Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) capability. Responsible for improving reliability, scalability, observability, automation and operational excellence of critical cybersecurity platforms supporting Cyber Defence Engineering and Infrastructure Security Engineering.\nOperate and support SIEM, Syslog, XDR, HIPS, CyberArk, SOAR, TIP, NDR, IPS and related security platforms.\n\nPerform proactive monitoring, health checks, incident response, problem management and root cause analysis.\n\nDevelop automation using Python, Ansible, APIs and Infrastructure-as-Code principles.\n\nImplement and maintain observability dashboards using Splunk, Grafana and monitoring platforms.\n\nDefine and track SLIs, SLOs and Error Budgets for critical services.\n\nMaintain runbooks, SOPs and knowledge management artifacts.\n\nSupport production handover and operational readiness reviews with Engineering and Solution Architecture teams.\n\nParticipate in on-call support, disaster recovery and resilience testing.\n\nJob Requirements\nEducation\nDiploma/Degree in engineering/Computer Science / IT/Cyber Security from a recognized education institution.\n\nCyber Security product certifications will be favorable although not mandatory.\n\nTechnical Skills\n5-8 years experience in SRE, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering or Security Engineering.\n\nStrong Linux and/or Windows administration skills.\n\nExperience with Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus or equivalent observability tools.\n\nHands-on scripting with Python, PowerShell or equivalent.\n\nExperience with Ansible, APIs and automation frameworks.\n\nGood understanding of networking, distributed systems and incident management.\n\nExperience with CyberArk, XDR, HIPS or SIEM platforms preferred.\n\nSoft Skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\n\nContinuous improvement and automation mindset.\n\nStrong documentation and process discipline.\n\nOther Requirements\nWillingness to participate in on-call support duty.\n\nExperience in banking or regulated environments is advantageous.\n\nBe a part of UOB Family\nUOB is an equal opportunity employer.
