If you're dedicated, dependable and driven to deliver exceptional guest service, this is a place for you!\nWhat you get to do:\nAs a Security Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall execution of our security operations, including the direction of all of our security officers, off-duty law enforcement officers, special events staff and security dignitaries. This role involves recruitment, development, evaluation, training and performance management, while ensuring team members maintain relevant certifications/licenses. You will direct/conduct investigations, complete case preparation and court presentations, and represent park in court as needed. Success in this role requires that you develop and maintain positive partnerships with all levels of outside law enforcement. You will:\nCreate or implement security standards, policies, and procedures.\nIdentify, investigate, or resolve security breaches.\nRespond to medical emergencies, bomb threats, fire alarms, or intrusion alarms, following emergency response procedures.\nMonitor and ensure a sound, ethical environment.\nPlan, direct, or coordinate security activities to safeguard company assets, employees, guests, or others on company property.\nDevelop, implement, manage, or evaluate policies and methods to protect personnel against harassment, threats, or violence.\nDevelop, conduct, support, or assist in governmental reviews, internal corporate evaluations, or assessments of the overall effectiveness of facility and personnel security processes.\nTrain subordinate security professionals or other organization members in security rules and procedures.\nAssess risks to mitigate potential consequences of incidents and develop a plan to respond to incidents.\nCommunicate security status, updates, and actual or potential problems, using established protocols.\nDirect or participate in emergency management and contingency planning.\nCommunicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors and our Guests.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nWhat it takes to succeed:\nPrevious military, law enforcement or security experience.\nExperience in loss prevention and investigative procedures.\nRelated Associate's or Bachelor’s degree preferred.\nThree or more years of supervisory/management experience within a theme park, entertainment, hospitality, or other guest services related industry.\nMust be at least 21 years old.\nCPR/AED and First Aid certified.\nState license(s) and applicable certification(s).\nComputer skills with Microsoft Office.\nExcellent communication and critical thinking skills.\nAbility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.\nKnowledge of relevant local, state, and federal laws desired.\nWhat else is important:\nMust be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs.\nPosition engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights, if needed.\nPerform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing).\nMust be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat.
