This role leads the design and delivery of complex features across the entire technology stack. The position takes ownership of major product areas, architecting scalable solutions while mentoring mid-level and junior developers. This role leverages AI agents extensively to accelerate development, automate routine tasks, and optimize team workflows. The Senior Developer drives code quality standards, participates in architectural decisions, and ensures reliability and performance of production systems.\nResponsibilities\nLead development, execution, and delivery of enterprise Crew Technology solutions supporting Crew Records, Qualifications, Scheduling, Training, Compliance, and Workforce Management platforms\nCollaborate with technology leads, developers, business SMEs, architects, product owners, and operational stakeholders to define and deliver technical solutions that support crew operations\nDrive integration of Crew applications with enterprise platforms, operational systems, cloud services, APIs, and data analytics solutions\nChampion Agile/Scrum methodologies by facilitating sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release planning activities\nLead API and event-driven integrations between Crew Technology platforms, operational systems, regulatory applications, and external vendor solutions\nCollaborate with development, infrastructure, and product teams to gather business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable and maintainable solutions\nLead unit, integration, and system testing activities and partner with QA teams to ensure end-to-end solution qualit\nStay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to airline crew operations, cloud-native development, workforce management, and regulatory compliance\nIdentify, document, and communicate risks, issues, blockers, dependencies, and mitigation plans to project and technology leadership\nCoordinate with Cloud Infrastructure teams (AWS preferred) to ensure secure, scalable, resilient, and high-performing applications\nTrack delivery milestones, technical dependencies, and cross-team commitments across multiple workstreams\nManage vendor relationships and third-party technology integrations supporting Crew Operations and Inflight business functions\nSupport and mentor development teams in resolving technical challenges, improving engineering practices, and maintaining delivery momentum\nDrive application modernization initiatives involving web technologies, cloud-native architectures, APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations\nEnsure solutions meet operational, security, audit, and regulatory compliance requirements while supporting crew readiness and operational excellence\nQualifications\nWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):\nBachelor's degree \nComputer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field\nExperience with modern development technologies including .NET and Angular\n3+ years of hands-on experience in software development, enterprise application delivery, and system integration\n3+ years of experience designing, developing, documenting, testing, and maintaining large-scale enterprise applications in an Agile environment\nStrong experience with web application development, API integrations, cloud technologies, and enterprise software platforms\nExperience designing and developing scalable distributed applications using modern application architectures\nExcellent verbal, written, presentation, and documentation skills\nKnowledge of application security, resiliency, monitoring, and performance optimization best practices\nFamiliarity with highly regulated environments and compliance requirements supporting operational systems\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship\nWhat will patterns\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, automated testing, and version control tools such as Git\nExperience working with relational and non-relational databases and modern data integration technologies\nStrong organizational, leadership, and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams\nExperience with Agile/Scrum or SAFe methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps\nExperience in airline operations, crew management, inflight systems, or workforce management solutions\nAWS or cloud-related certifications\nSAFe Agile certification\nExperience with Crew Records, Qualifications, Crew Scheduling, Training, or aviation compliance systems\nExperience modernizing legacy applications and migrating workloads to cloud-native platforms\nKnowledge of FAA regulatory requirements, crew qualification management, and operational readiness processes\nExperience integrating third-party airline operational systems and enterprise SaaS platforms\nThe base pay range for this role is $112,480.00 to $146,540.00.\nThe base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills.
