This position plays a key role in fundraising, donor engagement, marketing, communications, and community partnership development across our service area.\nAs the Resource Development Manager, you will help develop and implement fundraising strategies that support the organization's mission and long-term sustainability. You'll work closely with donors, businesses, volunteers, and community partners while coordinating workplace giving campaigns, sponsorships, donor stewardship efforts, grants, and marketing initiatives.\nEssential Responsibilities\nDevelop and implement annual fundraising strategies and campaigns.\nBuild and strengthen relationships with donors, businesses, sponsors, and community partners.\nCoordinate workplace giving campaigns and employee engagement initiatives.\nCreate donor stewardship and recognition plans to retain and grow support.\nResearch, write, and support grant proposal development.\nDevelop marketing materials, digital communications, and social media content.\nSupport major donor cultivation and planned giving efforts.\nHelp increase awareness of Tri-County United Way's impact throughout the community.\nWhat We're Looking For\nPassion for serving and strengthening local communities.\nStrong communication, public speaking, and relationship-building skills.\nExcellent organization, project management, and time management abilities.\nExperience in fundraising, donor relations, sales, marketing, communications, public relations, nonprofit leadership, or a related field.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, social media platforms, Canva, and CRM systems.\nKnowledge of the Tri-County communities is a plus.\nValid driver's license and reliable transportation. \nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nAssociate or bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, business, fundraising, or a related field preferred.\nAt least one year of relevant experience preferred.\nUnited Way experience is highly desirable. \nWhy Join Tri-County United Way?\nAt Tri-County United Way, you'll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on local families and communities while working in a flexible, mission-driven environment.
